Beautiful Lakefront "A" Frame With Hot Tub, 2 for 3 Nights Jan/Feb Weekends!

Beautiful lakefront home available for rent in Arnes, MB, just 10 miles north of Gimli, situated on a quiet residential street populated by many senior residents. This stunning home is a 2000 sq. ft. A-frame with a loft area featuring French doors that lead to the master bedroom, which includes an en-suite bathroom complete with a steam shower. The main level consists of two bedrooms, a full washroom, and a laundry closet. The kitchen and living area boast an open floor plan, with the front wall facing the lake composed entirely of large windows. The kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances, pine cabinets, and an island. Additional features include high-speed wireless internet, a three-season sunroom with a hot tub, a 400 sq. ft. wrap-around deck, a 200 sq. ft. deck over the water/beach, aluminum stairs leading down to the beach/water, HD satellite, steam shower, propane BBQ, and a two-car garage. Accommodates 8-10 guests. The bed configuration consists of a king-sized bed, two queen-sized beds, and two twin beds (one of which is a daybed with a trundle), offering plenty of space for a blow-up mattress. In the winter, it’s perfect for snowmobiling, ice fishing, or simply relaxing!

Great spot
Booked for a cozy getaway with friends - was a great location for it! Indoor hot tub was great - was too hot actually but Jamie was quick to give tips on how to cool it down. Property is right on the lake with big windows facing it - so it is a fantastic view. The beds are decent, definitely on the firm side. If you are sleeping on the main floor there is a loud sound in those bedrooms whenever anyone uses the water also (water pump I assume?). Not a deal breaker, but good to know for light sleepers. Jamie was quick to respond to any questions, and everything in the cabin was as stated in the description. The drinking water is a downside though - it's been mentioned in a few reviews. We are all familiar with well water, but we were glad we brought our own in the end. Has a bad smell and taste and colour - would be nice if a water cooler or even just a filter were provided. I trust that it is safe, it's just not pleasant to drink.

The property was everything we expected and well represented on the VRBO website. Bedrooms and kitchen/ bathroom facilities were good. The property was tidy but needs a good scrub. Main floor furniture has seen better days and should be addressed. The host was very responsive to our requests and is clearly willing to help ensure a great experience. We would return in a heartbeat.

My friends and I rented this place for the weekend and it was lovely! The views were beautiful and the area was quiet and relaxing. The owners left very clear instructions and even gave us a few recommendations as to what was in the area. Would definitely rent from them again :)

Nice shack for an ice fishing trip with friends
House was as described, and the host (Jamie) replied to texts very promptly if we had a question, the hot tub and steam bath was essential after a long day of drilling holes chasing walleye! We had 7 guys in the house for some ice fishing on lake Winnipeg. We typically fish down by the mouth so we just trailered to Warner rd, it was a bit out of the way but it wasn’t an issue. We wanted to try fishing out in front of the house but ran out of time. The house worked out great!

Everything is what the pictures show, couple small things hottub full of sand, water has pretty unique odor, coffee maker doesn't work, sectuonal is broken but comfy none the less. Overall cabin was fully set up and nice stuff, location was perfect for fishing, and hosting friends would definitely recommend renting to anybody who wants to be off the grid somewhat and relax.

Place was beautiful but we needed to clean upon arrival. Kitchen counters and dishes were filthy. Everything was dusty and hadn’t been vacuumed. Living room couch stained and broken. View was spectacular. Masterbedroom was nice. This place has a lot of potential but I wouldn’t recommend it as is.

The pictures featured the best this cabin had to offer. As expected from reviews, no wood for firepit, no water cooler and the house water was a bit offensive even though we live in a home with well water! The access to to the cabin was easy, nice lakefront spot and very quiet. Beach was lacking at the cabin, but walked along in front of neighbors and to near the marina. Overall the kids liked exploring the beach down the way and it was a good getaway from school, work and making family memories. Access to tv, wifi was perfect for rainly & teen time. Great area to dine together, play games and socialize in open living area. The hot tub was a bit old, slight odor to it and sadly had some sand in it although instructions were clear to shower prior to use. Thank you for the experience of cabin life on the lake!

Wonderful family getaway on Lake Winnipeg!
Enjoyed a relaxing family weekend in beautiful lake front cottage with 4 adults and two happy dogs. Jamie was a welcoming host who stayed at another cottage within walking distance. Hot tub was a nice touch, had a few fires and enjoyed the nearby fireworks show over the lake. Short drive to Gimli to pick up dinner one night and walk the pier and visit a few local shops. Lots of room and comfortable living space. A nice little extra would have been to have some wood included so we could have had a fire in the pit. Also not good drinking water, would have been more convenient to have a water cooler in the kitchen instead of carting bottled water.

Great stay. Relaxing and lots of space for a large family.
We truly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The big windows and the lake view were awesome, even if it was cooler outside at times. The hot tub was a great hit. The appliances were new, clean, and worked great. A clothes dryer rack would have been great for the towels after using the hot tub, but the dryer did the job, too. I'm glad I brought some larger cooking pots for our family of 9. We all enjoyed our stay a lot!

We booked this cottage for our employees to stay while working in the area. It was nice to have four beds and a hot tub to enjoy for their stay. The property is in a quiet cottage area... with a Spectacular view of the lake. It is nice to have a hot tub to Enjoy. Jamie was great to communicate with. Excellent instructions.

Nice Place depending on what you are looking for
The location was great and the cabin was very comfortable to accommodate 7 people and three dogs. The kitchen is quite well equipped and easy to have multiple people cooking in. Just a little more upkeep (some repairs are needed) and attention to detail (beds made with no top sheets, lots of cobwebs on deck furniture) would be great. Not the owners fault, but the high water levels made the water access difficult for my aging parents who have mobility issues (beach access was why we picked in the first place), and mosquitoes were terrible, making it nearly impossible to enjoy the outside in the evening. Owner was very easy to reach and great to communicate with.

Comfortable home
Rented this property with my husband and 2 adult children. Home was large and comfortable, set right on the lake with a lovely view. Everything we needed for an enjoyable time. Cleanliness could be improved however. Kitchen is aging, mattress covers are stained and hot tub maintenance could be better.
