Cozy spot, great for a family
Posted Aug. 19, 2024 on HomeAwayMy kids really liked the layout and looking at the books and toys. We found lots to do in the area, and the kitchen was really well equipped. We had a handful of small issues with furniture and setup, it is an older home, but the host responded quickly and positively. The listing was clear about lack of AC but that was more challenging than we expected in August due to the large windows and there was a heatwave. Would recommend for other families looking for a home base in the area.

Walking among the Giants!!
Posted Aug. 10, 2024 on HomeAwayWe loved our stay at the "Pooh Corner" and enjoyed walking among the giant Sequoias. The place was convenient. Thank you for letting us bring our fur babies with us!! They had a great time too!

Lovely place to get away
Posted Aug. 1, 2024 on HomeAwayStayed here for 4 days with my wife and used it as a jumping off point for a backpacking trip. We spent our time here exploring the local parks, enjoying the pool, and having the occasional burger in town.

Beautiful Stay
Posted Jun. 20, 2024 on HomeAwayWe really enjoyed our stay! The back deck is awesome and the house is comfortable and clean. My only recommendation is that the house needs a new barbeque because the current one is a little worn out. We will return!

Wonderful Mountain Retreat
Posted May 30, 2024 on HomeAwayWe stayed over Memorial Day weekend and had a lovely stay. The house is comfortable and well-appointed. We spent many hours relaxing on the deck, enjoying the beautiful scenery. It was very quiet and relaxing. We used the grill and had fabulous meals enjoying the view. We hope to return for a longer stay!

Beautiful location and home
Posted Feb. 11, 2024 on HomeAwayLove the place ! Bedding and beds were so comfortable. Gas fireplace was heated the living room and loft up nicely. One down side was that the downstairs bathroom had no heat and a really loud fan. It was too cold to take a shower. Luckily upstairs bathroom had some heat

Perfect mountain retreat

Great Cabin!
Posted Jan. 18, 2024 on HomeAwayThe house was immaculate and the kitchen was better-equipped than many of the houses we've rented in Arnold. Also, the owners/managers were responsive and easy to deal with. We went in winter and appreciated that the driveway only has a slight decline -- made it much easier to get out the morning after a significant snow storm. The neighborhood was quiet, and the house looks out over a valley, so there are wonderful views from the deck. We would definitely return.
