Casa Del Rio is set on 214 acres with roads and tracks through-out the property making it perfect for bush walks, push bike rides or just taking in
the natural bush land, full of extensive bird life and wildlife. Built on 3 levels, The Home is heavily influenced by Spanish missionary style, with extensive verandas and fantastic endless views over the Clarence river Delta to the coast, overlooking Maclean and Yamba.

The home boasts 270 degrees of water views with the lights and colours constantly changing with the time of day and weather conditions. Casa Del Rio features extensive recycled timbers and antique style timbers from around the world. The impressive timber beams and posts are recycled largely from demolished bridges and sheds throughout the Northern Rivers region of NSW; and as far a- field as Tenterfield and Scone.

The Main Entry door and bell are from a Jesuit Mission Church located near the Pakistan/Afghanistan /and Northern Indian border circa 1700’s. This magnificent door is a rare piece, saved from destruction, smuggled into
India in the 1990’s and now breathes new life at Casa Del Rio.
The upstairs shutters are from Sumatra circa 1800’s and the bi -fold door in the Captains room were originally Burmese jail doors, with the doors throughout the house in rooms mainly built from cedar sourced from old local homes. Of note, much of the bedroom furniture is also made from reclaimed timber. The Yamba coastline has been long recognised as a near perfect lifestyle environment. Perched on the escarpment the House is positioned to capture any breeze, with temperatures seldom uncomfortable.

Sorry, but Casa Del Rio has a strict 'no party/no functions', no pets and no smoking (anywhere on the property) policies and does not accept bookings from school leavers.
All our guests with Yamba Accommodation have full linen supplied & access to The Beachside Leisure Centre’s pool, tennis courts and BBQ area located at 1 The Boulevard Yamba.
