The location and staff were great. All the socket outlets in the room didn't work. The elevator carpet is stained and there is a mildew carpet odor when getting off the elevator on the sixth floor.

Our stay at the Element was fantastic. From the reception staff, to the 24 hour coffee bar, to the cleanliness of the hotel, we could not have been happier with our stay. The room was very modern and even had cutlery, plates, and cups. Sometimes in a hotel, these aren't typical in just a normal room, but we found them beneficial! My favorite part was the open space on the second floor that offered couches to hang out on and a 24 hour hour coffee bar! The hotel was close enough to downtown Asheville that it was only a 5 minute drive, but we appreciated that it was a little secluded. We'll definitely be back!

Best breakfast I have ever had at a hotel in the states. They had healthy options and everyone in the family enjoyed it. Clean and comfortable beds. A short drive into downtown Asheville. Would definitely stay here again.

We were in Asheville when the hurricane came through. The hotel lost power and water (like the rest of Asheville), but the hotel did whatever they could to accommodate. The Manager and staff was great. Thank you!

I really liked this hotel. It had a nice kitchenette which would be really great for a longer stay. My daughter and I only stayed one night but the beds were comfy and the view out of the window was really nice!

The room was great and hotel was clean in general. Breakfast was really good and had a lot of great option. However, when the front desk person took my credit card upon check-in I specifically asked if it would be charged and the person said that it won't be charged but only on file if something happens. A few days after my stay I got a charge of $12 on the card. I called and the hotel explained it was for parking. Looking back at the details it does say there is a $12 fee for parking which I missed and don't mind paying for. What bothered me was that there was not upfront communication about what my card was used for. Otherwise I'd give this hotel a 4.5 or 5 stars.
