That way you can just relax knowing everything has been cleaned especially for you!***** We provide soap, shampoo, and cream rinse.

NEW!!! WE NOW HAVE BROADBAND. Spectrum's fiber optic to the house was installed in October. We now have the ability to stream programing....so bring your passwords for your streaming services and you can watch all those programs here in rural Bat Cave!

We have installed a GENERATOR so if the power goes out - happens once in a while in our area- You will still be able to run most everything in the house. The owner won't have to access your accommodations to turn Generator on as it is the building next to the house and can be turned on from outside. We were concerned about Guests being inconvenienced during outages so opted for this solution.

It was perfect for us!
This home was perfect for my husband and myself. It was clean and well stocked and looked just like the pictures. The location was beautiful beside a babbling stream. When there, we couldn't see another house, but it was convenient to everywhere we wanted to go: Lake Lure, Chimney Rock, Asheville, Hendersonville... We definitely plan to go back!

What a beautiful place!
This vacation cottage was beyond my expectations. I highly recommend staying there. The owner has thought of everything! The bold creek....listening to that sound was so relaxing. The property was very clean and tastefully decorated.

Beautiful and pristine!
This lovely cabin that sits right on a beautiful bubbling stream… is like a fairytale. Every window has a scene that is very intentionally beautiful with flowers or streams or foliage. We needed for nothing in this cabin. They supplied above, and beyond what would be required. I can tell they have put so much work into making this a place that people will always love and long to return to.

My family has stayed at Jen and Bill’s Guest House four or five times, we’ve lost count! We love the home and the area. There is so much to do within an hour drive. We love the waterfalls in NC and will definitely be back!

Peaceful and serene beyond measure
This is the most beautiful property we have ever stayed at. The deck by the rocky stream was the perfect place for healing, as we were rocked by the very recent, unexpected death of a beloved pet who had only just turned five years old. The house itself is beautifully decorated and comfortable, and was well supplied with everything you'd need and more. The owners provide more than any other place I've stayed, and I've stayed in many places over the years. The hosts are exceptionally kind and responsive. I just can't say enough about how awesome a stay we had, how wonderful the hosts and the entire setting are. This was our second stay, and most certainly will not be our last! We look forward to returning as soon as possible! ❤️

Phenomenal stay
This property is truly incredible. The hosts have thought of everything. The house is immaculate. I’m a bit of a germaphobe so the fact they launder the bathroom rugs, bedspreads/shams and shower liners after each guest is huge. The property is stunning and so peaceful. Lots of personal and thoughtful touches in the home from the hosts. Based on reviews I knew it was going to be great, but it was truly better than expected.

Best VRBO ever!!!
We truly enjoyed our time from the moment we drove up till we had to go home. The cabin is the cleanest VRBO we have ever stayed in. You can tell that the owners not only care for their property but they care about those renting from them. They thought of everything! We enjoyed being close to Lake Lure and Chimney Rock while feeling like we were in the middle of nowhere when we were back at the cabin. Only a quick 10 minute drive away. The restaurants we tried in chimney rock were the Burntshirt Bistro and The Highlands, both were delicious and had amazing views from their patios. Scoops ice cream in lake lure was so rich and creamy we went there twice! We hiked at chimney rock and walked the lovely flowering bridge. My favorite part though was coming back to the cabin and listening to the creek. I even got in it a couple of times. Plenty of good sandy spots to sit in. The water was cold but felt good. My son and I made s’mores on the fire pit and played games that were in the cabin. My husband and I enjoyed coffee on the screened porch every morning. It was total relaxation. We even saw a huge turkey walk around the property two different days. We walked to see the large waterfall down the street. We truly hope to be back again soon. Now I can see why so many other reviewers have been here multiple times.

Cabin by the steam
Great location! Cottage is steps away a fast moving steam leading to a private waterfall! Very clean with comfortable beds & linen, ... all the comforts of home with an amazing view. Highly recommend.

As Usual... Our perfect retreat

Who knew?
The listing looks humble, but the setting is amazing! My onlycomplaint comes with the Vrbo process - not this property. I remember the good old days when I could easily call the owners. Now VRBO is less user friendly.

We came to the mountains to go to the Biltmore estate and Chimney rock and looked at a lot of vrbo . This one seemed to be what we was after . We got there and it awesome . Better than expected . The brook beside the place was so calming and the was exceptionally clean and the owners thought of everything . It is a place that you would like to stay at again . We have zero bad things to say . Only wish we could of spent more time there.

Great Cabin, Great Creek!
We had the best stay at the Guest House! Check in was a breeze with a key code. The house was super clean, and the owners went above and beyond to stock everything we might possibly need. From kitchen accessories and snacks/water/coffee to laundry detergent, to firewood for the fire pit, they thought of everything! I had asked about local hiking spots and orchards, and they responded so quickly and we loved their recommendations! Our son wanted to do “nature stuff”, like fishing, hiking, and having a campfire, and this property checked all those boxes. He played for hours in the creek, climbing the rocks and trees. The board games and chalkboard were also well used. I’m so happy I booked the Guest House! Thanks Jen and Bill!

Great House!
Stop looking - this is the house you want! These owners have thought of everything and provided it for you; it's clear that they care about your experience while you're there. Convenient to Lake Luke, Chimney Rock, apple picking and Hendersonville, there is plenty to do around the area, but also plenty to do at the house if you prefer a quiet getaway. My kids loved playing in the creek, watching butterflies and using the fire pit. I loved listening to the water in the morning from the screened in porch.
