Let me begin by saying that I have never given a 5 star rating to a hotel but Arden Forest Inn has earned it! Our room was very private and spacious. The attention to detail and special touches were evident throughout. The location is far enough away from the busy plaza but close enough to walk. Having a fully stocked guest kitchenette was another plus. We'll be back!

This was an absolute gem of a place. We enjoyed the garden and comfort of the room, but didn't have a chance to use the pool. We were pleasantly surprise that they had a Level2 EV charger for guest use. We had a lovely walk into town for dinner. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Enchanting weekend

Our 3 night stay was very enjoyable; we walked to town for meals, shopping and also to catch our shuttle to white water rafting with Noah’s Adventures. (Noah’s is a top notch company! The lunch was delicious and very generous! We also enjoyed a dinner show at the Oregon Cabaret Theatre. (Generous and fair pricing for dinner) We had time to cool down after walking home from town in the refreshing pool! It felt like we had the place to ourselves! We were lucky enough to share the grounds with a Mama doe and her darling fawns. What a treat that was! The shared kitchen has a Keurig and coffee cups along with cream in the fridge that we enjoyed each morning. This place is charming and a perfect place to stay in Ashland!
We went to Skout three times to have beer and once for dinner. It’s along the creek and across from Lithia park, which is a fun people watching (and deer) spot! Skout had the best street tacos!! Generous portions of meat and accompaniments! They also carry many beers on tap and allow several tastings! They carry gluten free beer too!
What a fun weekend!
