We love this Holiday Inn Express. We return to it whenever we travel to California. A great part way stopping place.

Friendly staff but needs a tweak or two

Comfortable room and good breakfast (perhaps best to get there early - very crowded as we were leaving). Two restaurants within an easy walk, otherwise, somewhat isolated, although it is a short drive to town.

We were put in a room around the corner from reception. Basically a staff-area hallway with doors slamming shut all night, could hear the fan in the adjacent lobby restroom, and other random noise. Putting a room here is stupid. Or the company decided it's worth a few bad reviews for the extra income from a badly placed room. Probably would have been a fine stay in another room. I asked for a discounted second night if we could be moved but staff did not budge. Way overpriced considering the quality of sleep we got.
