Avis Casa Astrid Assisi

Beautifully located in the mountains close to Assisi this house was a great place to be. The views alone were stunning. The outdoor spaces were like a little oasis from the hustle of travel. The house is well appointed with spacious bedrooms with king size beds, large stylish bathrooms and peaceful places to relax. Discreetly tucked away in an olive grove the peace was welcome. Our entire family had a great time. Inside the home is a stylish chefs kitchen, great selection of everything you need to cook. The house had everything and a fully stocked bar if needed. This was a great place to relax, unwind and enjoy with your family. The neighbors on the winding path to the house were friendly. Our kids got a smile and a morning wave from a local truffle hunter passing by on his tractor. Great place to stay if you are visiting Assisi or local delights in Umbria. Our hosts Barbara and Jean Luc attentive and responsive to our needs. Overall great communication and lovely space for a relaxing vacation.

We had an amazing time with family and friends The Villa is beautiful and Barbara was doing an excellent job making sure every moment of the stay was memorable. We will certainly come back and couldn’t thank more Jean-Luc and Barbara for the great hospitality, amazing responsiveness and attention to details. Prachtig gelegen. Idyllische views. Ook mooie wandelingen (Monte Subasio). Als je er wil gaan fietsen weet dat het behoorlijk steil is, dus racefiets of electrisch. Supermarkt en bakker met de auto.

Mit den Gastgebern Barbara und Jean-Luc hätten wir es nicht besser treffen können. Der Kontakt vor und während unseres Aufenthalts war unkompliziert und jederzeit überaus hilfsbereit. Die Villa liegt wundervoll allein in einem Berghang. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist topmodern und es fehlte uns an nichts. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Dit is de 3de maal dat we Italië kiezen voor onze vakantie; deze keer belandden we in Umbrie met kinderen en kleinkinderen en het gezin van de jongste broer. Casa Astrid was uitmuntend op alle vlakken: voorbeeldige begeleiding bij aankomst, ruime en comfortabele kamers, keuken, eetplaats . Volop ruimte buiten rond het huis mét aangenaam zwembad en fantastisch zicht op de vallei rond de Monte Subasio. Assisi op 4 km! We hebben allemaal moeten 'afkicken' van zoveel charme, eens we terug thuis waren. Een absolute aanrader, vandaar mijn maximum scores. Bedankt aan Jean-Luc en Barbara voor dit ongelooflijk verblijf. We loved everything about the estate! Beautiful view, nice pool, great rooms, everything clean and the communication with the owner is great! We will come back for sure!

We have returned with wonderful memories from Casa Astrid - the villa and its magical surroundings surpassed our every expectation. We had very good feelings from the very beginning and this is mostly due to Jean-Luc, who is the most pleasant and professional owner you could have. The service and communication were excellent both with him and Barbara. The villa is tucked away on a winding road among the hills and once you arrive at the olive groves you’re blown away by the beauty and the magic of the place. It’s the perfect place to get away from it all, and the extremely well-equipped classic Umbrian-style villa with all the comforts of modern life is a guarantee for a relaxing holiday. We loved the veggies and herbs from the organic garden, the drinks from the bar, and cooling down in the pool on hot summer days. One of the highlights of our stay at casa Astrid was the Ofyr grill which has been not only a fantastic gastronomic experience but a visual one as well! And of course we were extremely delighted when the lovely neighbors surprised us with eggs and veggies from their garden! So it has been a truly unique and fantastic experience- we cannot wait to return! Renáta
