Publié le 17 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe location of this apartment was smack dab in the middle of city and access to the Metro (steps away!). The apartment was exactly as advertised. Spyros was very responsive to all questions. Hospitality was wonderful! Would stay here again!

Wonderful Time in Athens

Perfect place in the perfect location.
Publié le 22 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a 1 night layover from our cruise that finished in Athens. I booked this apartment because it was spacious. We needed it with 3 teenage boys. The apartment was great! Plenty of room and well air conditioned. The location was incredible! In the middle of everything. It was fun for my wife and I to explore and find multiple options for dining at the small restaurants. I highly recommend this property if you are staying in Athens.

Spacious comfortable apartment

Host was very helpful regarding restaurants etc. the only reason I took one star off in overall rating was the noise factor in the front bedroom. And to be fair, other reviewers had mentioned this too so it was not unexpected. Host went above and beyond! Great stay and we hope to use again!

great place!
Publié le 5 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was a really great place- super clean and easy to check in. I appreciated that the owner communicated quickly and responsively on check in and otherwise! People have made comments about the noise, and it is lively but I think the area is so much fun and it's really jut like being in NY! Unless you plan to sleep through Athens this isn't an issue. Wonderful!

Athens - Location was loud
Publié le 29 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe rented this apartment due to the location, but it was loud due to the music and commotion in the square below. The kitchen was not well equipped. It was complicated to take a shower. You had to turn on a hot water breaker, wait and then turn it off. A lot of work for a shower. Communication was slow, although finely did get answers to questions there was just always a delay.

Thanks so much for choosing our place for your stay Tami. As in all capital cities of the world, Athens city center where the apt is located is always alive and busy, but the apt is equipped with very good noise insulation which you can leave noise out if the windows are closed (it's also equipped with an air conditioning unit in every room). As for the hot water, we're afraid that's how things work in most Greek houses, not just ours. We're sorry that you found that inconvenient. Finally, concerning communication, the time zone difference should have been taken into consideration, since all messages prior to your arrival were delivered at really late night times, while your messages during your stay were answered within minutes. All things considered and given our willingness to help you out with luggage drop and transfers, we think that a 3-star review is a bit harsh. No worries though, feel free to book with us at your next trip to Athens. Take care!

Great view of the acropolis
Publié le 26 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe view was stunning and the property had all of the basics we needed to enjoy our stay. The building itself though is super loud. The walls are very thin and this is located in a party neighborhood. On Saturday night the club below us went until 5am. If you like to party, then this place will be a perfect stay.
Easily walk-able to all the areas most people visit while in Athens. (You can walk right to the Acropolis! Its only about 15min away, and you can even walk the capitol to watch the guard ceremony!)
All in all a good stay, but I would add an extra caution to female travelers. The neighborhood is full of "grabby" men.
