The unit was clean, well designed and comfortable. Check-in was easy.
The neighborhood is not "rough" as others have written but its not touristy. Be prepared to take the subway (closest station a 5-min walk away from the hotel) to visit the sights. If you are looking for a calmer location this is the place for you.
