Welcome to the Classic City Cottage! Located on a quiet street in historic Normaltown. The cottage is a short stroll from downtown Athens and all the main attractions! With three spacious bedrooms and two full bathrooms, the layout provides both privacy and an inviting atmosphere.
The newly renovated kitchen and living room boasts a Bistro-style eat-in space with designer inspired decor. Wi-fi throughout. A Smart TV in the Living room.An inviting front porch and large back yard. Sleeps 6.

THE SPACE
Thank you so much for your interest in our listing! We strive to create an immaculately clean, sanitized and a fwelcoming space. The house has 3 spacious bedrooms equipped 2 queen bed and 1 full bed, 2 full bathrooms and room to accommodate 6 guests comfortably. The living room and kitchen are newly renovated and the house is the perfect size for couples, families or friends who want a relaxing retreat away.

The moment you arrive, you’ll immediately fall in love with the home's charming schemes and furnishings, all of which help create a truly relaxing vacation environment. All the amenities you need to be as comfortable as possible during your stay are here including a washer and dryer, 45 inch flat screen SMART TV including all major streaming services and wireless internet access.

The house is family friendly as well! There is so much to consider when traveling with young children, so let us take a little of that stress off your shoulders! Our home is equipped with assorted toys and books for toddler age children, a pack-n play and DisneyPlus on the Smart TV!

A literal refuge!
We had this house rented for the weekend for a football game. One week before our rental, Hurricane Helene left our home and businesses without power and water. I contacted the host and she was responsive and gracious enough to let us come before our rental date and take refuge here while we were without power at home. The house is spotless and very comfortably appointed. We are grateful for her kindness and will definitely stay here again.

Perfect house for downtown wedding
The Classic Cottage was perfect for us, so close to all the venues we had to get to. The house is adorable and was very clean and well stocked. The host was very responsive. Everything about our experience was smooth and we’d definitely stay there again.

The perfect respite
This house was exactly what we needed to settle our daughter into her first year at UGA. Had plenty of space for our family and had a gate we could park our cars behind - that felt like an added bonus honestly! House was clean and prepared for our visit and the hosts were incredibly responsive, communicative and accommodating. Will definitely be back.

A week in Athens
Overall the stay was very nice. There was a small issue with the A/C which the host discovered (from remote NEST access) and the repair was done the next morning already - Thank you! The initial notification with the check-in information did not get through (I wonder if that's an issue with VRBO, because that happened the second time to us) The location is not the nicest area of Athens (that would likely be south of the city center), but it close to the center. Thanks a lot!

Family Visit
My daughter is preparing to relocate to Athens for graduate school and we needed to stay a few days to find an apartment and acclimate her to the city. This little spot was just perfect. The home was spacious and clean. The kitchen and bathrooms were stocked and my daughter and I enjoyed coffee in the morning and wine in the evening on the front porch. And you can't beat the location - close to everything and private parking. The owners were responsive and addressed a minor issue promptly. Overall, a great spot!

Great Location!
An older home with some creaks but very well-maintained. An excellent location convenient to all of the best things to do in Athens. Quiet neighborhood with lots of friendly faces taking walks with their dogs. Would definitely stay here again!

Bulldog Brawl Volleyball tournament
Your house is very cozy. We were in town for a volleyball tournament. Two things to consider. The master bed needs a new mattress because it sags to the middle really bad. Also, there was no soap in the showers. Only liquid hand soap at the sinks. The property itself was very clean and decorated nice! Fresh paint and comfy linens. Plenty of towels is important and you had them. Will stay again when in Athens!

This house was the perfect choice to introduce friends to the local neighborhood vibe of Athens. It’s location is close to all that downtown and normal town have to offer while still giving you the small Athens neighborhood quietness.

We enjoyed our stay in this cute home. It was clean and all beds were very comfortable. The road it is on is a little tight but there is a nice area for parking behind the house. It was a quick ride to everywhere we needed to go!

Downtown Athens Music Trip
The property was clean, with 3 nicely appointed bedrooms. The kitchen was well stocked, we ate breakfast and lunch in the house, dinners out. Downtown is walkable, about 1 mile, or a short drive. About 1/2 mile walk to the Oconee River with a great walking path. Getting in the building was easy with just a 4 digit code to enter. Our host Molly was very responsive to questions along the way. I would stay there again.

Parents Weekend
We loved our stay at Classic City Cottage! The cottage has been updated, yet retains the character of the 100 year old home. There was plenty of room for our family of five to spread out. The location is very cool with coffee shops at the corner, walking distance to Normaltown Brewing Co and convenient to downtown Athens. The host was very accommodating and we look forward to staying again on our next visit to UGA. Thank you Molly…GO DAWGS!
