We loved our stay at the Pinnacle. It's located within easy walking distance of all the main tourist attractions, such as the Acropolis and other archaeological sites, Monastiraki Square, and so on, but because it's not right in the middle of the Monastiraki or Plaka neighborhoods it's much quieter. We had a room facing the street, but it was pretty quiet at night. It's located on the corner of Aiolou Street, which is a really great pedestrian walkway.
Our room was lovely, charmingly decorated, and very clean. The building in general is very cute, with quirky artworks all over the walls up and down the staircase. The rooftop area has a wonderful view of the Acropolis.
We liked the breakfast that's included in the room rate. There were a variety of options that would work for most tastes. Some of them were traditional Greek pastries, yogurt, and so on, and there were more "American" options such as scrambled eggs, ham, and sausage too. There were also a variety of breakfast cereals and fruits. The staff make espresso drinks and juices on request.
The highlight of staying at the Pinnacle, for me, was the helpfulness of the staff. From the front desk to the restaurant to the housekeeping staff, they were all so kind. They're very knowledgeable about the area and all the dining options in the neighborhood. The front desk staff gave us fantastic recommendations for nearby restaurants. They also arranged for a private driver to take us to and from the airport.
