Verschlossene Türen

Wir haben trotz mehrfacher tagelanger Versuche auch über Kollegen von Hotels.com keinen Direktkontakt zur Villa erhalten und standen mitten in der Nacht vor verschlossenen Türen und haben und einen Ersatz suchen müssen, den wir mit Glück , aber leider auch ohne Hilfe von Hotel. COM dann doch noch gefunden haben. Wir hoffen jetzt wenigstens unser Geld zurückzuerhalten. Nie wieder Villa Dioni!! Dr. Norbert Manterfeld

Owner didn't show up to open the property We were stuck outside at 7pm with 2 kids and a baby Hotels.com held us for 2.5 hours with no actual solution Last time we shall use this site

False advertising and poor service

I reserved this hotel online through Expedia. I called 24 hours ahead of time with no answer despite multiple times during the day until the evening. The receptionist stated that they would send someone to pick us up at the airport and when we arrived at midnight no one could be found. I made several attempts to call them without a response. When we jumped into a taxi to drive us to the hotel, the driver informed us that the hotel was not anywhere near the airport as advertised on Expedia but rather it was located 40 min away. False advertising!!!

I should've known this place would be a problem when they were asking for money after I paid everything to hotels.com, they claimed it was a mix up. This location is the worst do not book with them. They were supposed to pick us up from the airport and that never happened and after paying money for a cab and getting to the location no one was there and they were aware of our travel plans. I was stuck in a country that I did not know the language and thankfully other friends were in town so I found a place to stay. Do not book a stay here!!

At 9PM, after a 5 hour ferry ride back to Athens for our last night of our vacation, my wife and our two young childred were looking forward to dinner and sleeping at Villa Dioni. However, after a 30 minute cab ride on dirt roads in the middle of nowhere, we arrived at an empty villa. No one was there to let us in. The gate was locked. No one answered the door after we rang the doorbell several times and screamed over the gate. After 25 minutes, we gave up and had to have a cab take us to the City Center to find a hotel room and food. Thanks to Villa Dioni, all of the relaxation from our time on the islands quickly turned into stress and frustration. Stay away from this place! It may look good in pictures, but you cannot count on them to actually be there. Go somewhere else that cares.
