Review for Still Waters Retreat

The location is incredibly quiet, making it the perfect spot for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The cabin itself is cozy, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. We were pleasantly surprised to find that everything we needed was provided—seriously, the only thing we needed to get was the food, making our stay incredibly convenient.
The host went above and beyond to make our stay special. When they learned why we were in town, they graciously brought over some beautiful orchids for my wife, which was a thoughtful and kind gesture. Additionally, when we mentioned a potential concern with the refrigerator, the host responded immediately and resolved the issue the same day.
There were a couple of minor downsides. The water pressure was weaker than expected, and the memory foam bed topper was a bit too soft for our liking, making sleep a little less comfortable.
Overall, Still Waters Retreat is a fantastic place to unwind, and we would rate our experience a solid 9.5/10. Highly recommended for a peaceful, cozy getaway with great hospitality!

Perfect for the weekend

Relaxing stay

Cozy and Quiet

The small pier/dock by the lake is a perfect place for coffee in the morning or wine in the afternoon/evening. I saw deer out the window and birds (including a large crane) around the lake. Super comfy bed. Kitchen is stocked with everything needed to prepare meals. And the host was responsive and considerate. I'd definitely stay here again.

Should be a comfortable stay if you stay out of the cabinets

Lovely Getaway
Publié le 20 avr. 2021 sur HomeAwayI had such a great time at Still Waters. I stayed in one of 3 apartment units in the house. This place is comfortable and relaxing! It was nearly quiet the whole time. The lake area is simply tranquil! Aletta was very responsive and made sure I enjoyed my stay.Would love to visit again.

A quiet and comfortable retreat
Publié le 16 avr. 2021 sur HomeAwayThis cottage is lovely and well maintained with lots of extras, like a dock for relaxing on a private pond just steps away. Aletta is truly a super host. She and her family made me feel so welcome and safe, like staying with family. Definitely will stay here whenever I am in the Atlanta area. Spotless, spacious, quiet, and close to everything.
