From the time I first arrived at the property, the front desk attendant was extremely rude. Every time I ask her a question it was like I was being an inconvenience to her. I paid for valet parking and then was told to park my own car. After going up to my room, I was immediately welcomed with an unpleasant/stale smell in the room. I proceeded to walk through the room to figure out what the smell was, and the table in the living room part had drink rings and grime and grease on the table. The kitchen table had dust and food crumbs. The floor was dusty and covered in food crumbs. The towels in the bathroom had stains on them. The carpet in the bed room was absolutely disgusting, there were stains everywhere. I went back downstairs to speak with the front desk attendant to request a new room because my room was disgusting, and she immediately snatched her keys and followed me to the room, as if I was lying. After getting back up to the room, I walked her through the entire room and pointed out all the problem areas, and she looked at me with an annoyed look and told me there was no more rooms available and there was nothing she could do and to let her know if there was any other issues that I found in the room after she pointed out the bed looks fine. After she left out I flipped the sheets back and there was a bug crawling on my sheets. I immediately grabbed all my belongings and left. I will never say or recommend this property to anyone!

Comfortable Stay, Frustrating Check-In

I recently stayed at Sonder Midtown South, and overall, I enjoyed my time there. The space had a homey feel with a full kitchen, comfortable living area, and a spacious walk-in closet—a nice departure from a standard hotel room. The balcony was a great bonus, and the location was perfect, walking distance to Midtown hotspots and Beltline neighborhoods. However, there were a few downsides. The check-in process was frustratingly cumbersome for guests who didn’t download the Sonder app. It would be nice if they offered a traditional check-in option, like most hotels do. Also, there was no gym, which was a bit disappointing. Lastly, the stained carpets made the space feel less clean and well-maintained. Overall, Sonder Midtown South is a solid choice for those wanting an apartment-style stay in a prime location, but there’s definitely room for improvement in cleanliness, amenities, and especially check-in convenience

The room was impeccably clean. The unit included a washer and dryer with complimentary laundry pods provided. A user-adjustable thermostat allowed for personalized temperature control. The location was exceptionally quiet and conducive to safe pedestrian travel.

Only problem was not enough hot water! Runs out halfway thru a typical shower and then ice cold! Bed is quite low and a bit hard. They told me there was no ice maker but there was and I had already brought ice because of that

Awesome spot in the city

The hotel was very nice, clean and spacious. Absolutely beautiful view of the city, however, the $30 a day parking fee caught me off guard. The attendant was very nice and waved it for my patience.... very nice hotel...

Our stay at Sonder Atlanta.

The hotel is in good location with bus transportation within a short walk, Publix supermarket is approximately 500meters away. The hotel and room easy to access with the pass key supplied and inputted into the external key pads, on entry to the hotel and room. We had room 704, which was one bedroom, with a large walk-in-wardrobe, large bathroom, and bedroom. ( only issue is the bed frame being low, and we banged our shins on the corner! Make sure you have the quilt over the end of the beds to stop this from happening lol 😂) The kitchen area was spacious, with a large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, separate washing machine and dryer ( which we used to wash one of the change of towels) washing detergent for all supplied. There are day staff on duty and night security staff, who were able to assist with enquiries. It was the first time booking a Sonder Hotel, but will be one of the first one to consider on our future travels. Tip, taxi from Atlanta International was $45, an Uber return was only $25,

The facilities are very spacious and good location. Communication is mostly by text and so it makes it a little complicated to meet the guest's needs. We asked for a Mattress because the sofa bed was damaged and so bad that it was impossible to sleep. in it and the additional bedding,, because of the cold, and their response was “””we cannot provide additional mattressesYour Sonder can accommodate up to 6 guests, and the linen The bed for the sofa bed should be in the closet in case you need it””””” So we had to take the mattress off the sofa bed, throw it on the floor and sleep on the floor and deal with the cold. So we paid for an apartment for six 6 people, but in reality it is for 4. If you have a sofa bed that is useless and you cannot use it as a bed. The younger ones had to sleep on the floor
