Publié le 12 juill. 2019 sur HotelsMotel propre et calme, chambre grande, personnel accueillant, très bon rapport qualité/prix, situé à 8 minutes à pied d'une station métro (Decatur, blue line). Le motel est géré par une famille indienne, très polie et serviable. Ils sont à l'écoute de clients et gardent très bien la propreté du motel. Je reviendrai pour mon prochain séjour à Atlanta. C'est de loin le meilleur motel que j'ai eu pendant mes séjours en USA.

I felt like the customer service was poor because when I went to the front desk to see if my room was extended an extra night through expedia, it was not. The expedia price was $144 on a Friday night, but at the front desk it was $160. So I gave him my card and he charged it, but while I was waiting for him to give my card back, I pulled up Expedia and saw the room was still $144 and asked if he would honor that rate. I had not signed the room charge on for my credit card and I pointed that out to him. He said no, sorry I already charged your card. I didn't feel like arguing anymore so I just signed it. How hard would it have been to simply cancel that transaction? Not hard. All for a few more bucks. I'm guessing the hotel makes more money if they book it themselves instead of through Expedia? I would like to see a refund for the difference.

The Decatur Super 8 is located just outside the highly walkable Decatur city center (10 minute walk) and access to MARTA which is why I picked it. The staff were super friendly and the room comfortable and quiet. The place is also affordable vs other options in the area. With that said, the property is showing its wear and tear and needs a facelift. It is a good value if you don't mind your room not being in pristine condition.
