Nice location yet very remote
Publié le 14 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayA great location to visit our son who lives in Hancock. Easy to get to Walmart for shopping. Can walk on nearby trails close to cabin and feel totally lost in nature. Beautiful surroundings. Love bringing our little dog too.

Atlantic Mine Log Cabin
Publié le 20 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe cabin was a great place to stay! Very cute and cozy. They do a great job of cleaning and provide a ton of towels and linens. The only issues we ran into were with the wifi being slow (the owner said it’s not normally that slow, but even after resetting it it still was pointless to be connected to) and there were a lot of wasps flying around the porch. Everything was great outside of that. Thanks for sharing your place!

Good to hear you enjoyed our cabinn. Concerning the wifi, sorry your connection was poor. Found out the receiver (antenna was out of position from a hard wind). Realigned and all's well.
We do have renters stay and work from there which requires a good signal.

Publié le 6 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a wonderful time at the cabinn. This place is amazing. My husband and son enjoyed all the special details and the craftsmanship. The wrap around porch is fantastic! The privacy is fantastic too.
The shower and sauna are wonderful features of the basement bathroom.
The kitchen had everything we needed to cook all of our meals.
Privacy, but close to town. Our dogs loved it as well.
We would love to see what it’s like in the winter months.

Good to hear you enjoyed our log cabin. Yes the winter season is also a special time up here with all our snow that Lake Superior provides.
