Lovely little spot.
Publié le 23 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayI was concerned it might be noisy with other cabins so close but was pleasantly surprised how peaceful it was during our stay. Needed a deep clean as there was bug poo on exterior & some spiders inside but overall we had a lovely visit.

A Charming Cottage on the Peaceful Au Train River

It was such a treat to sip our tea in the morning in Adirondack chairs and watch canoes and kayaks go by. There is a terrific outdoor area with a picnic table and fire pit. The waterfront has a place to tie your boats and there’s a swimming and fishing hole right off the living room area.
The kitchen is equipped with everything you need and they even included a basket of goodies. We had a lovely time and will stay again.

Peaceful Riverside!
Publié le 18 août 2024 sur HomeAwayRelaxing, very peaceful by the river. Very quiet property and close to Au Train beach and Munising. Loved being right on the river and watching all the kayakers and canoers pass by. Would stay here again.

Pictured Rocks vacation
Publié le 1 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThe house was clean. The beds and furniture were comfortable. We had a truck and boat with us. That was a bit tight but luckily my husband is very good at backing in a boat. The boat dock for Au Train lake was like 8 min from the house. We didn’t get a chance to kayak on the river but it was right outside of the house. The location was close enough for driving to everything around the area.

Beautiful spot on the river!
Publié le 16 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayThe cabin was even better than the photos portrayed! So peaceful, right on the water - caution if you have littles, but awesome for adults. Have your coffee listening to the river and the birds. Beds are comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. We also appreciated that our dog was allowed and lots of places to walk nearby.

Great cabin for our stay up north
Publié le 22 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayComfortable cabin for our family of 5. Good proximity to Munising, Marquette, Pictured Rocks and a lot of great waterfall hikes. Host was attentive and communicative. We'd definitely stay here again.
