Very Comfortable
Publié le 7 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayEnjoyed a three day stay in a "reconditioned apartment" of a once majestic brick "Edwardian" house on a street with some well preserved mansions. The compartmentalization allows for several comfortable living quarters. Easy parking and access.

The property has great possibility but we were very disappointed. Walking from the parking lot to the house we passed all kinds of junk piled behind the house. Inside just smelled stale. We think the property was probably clean but because of the smell it didn’t feel that way and we felt uncomfortable. There was simply a lack of attention to details.

Adequate but not inviting

The porch was dusty, like the furniture had not been cleaned in a while The house was old and interior was cut and cover. Had to go up a narrow stairway to the room. The air conditioner was not robust enough for the size of the room. We are lucky it was not a really hot night. It was clean enough, but just not inviting. Not sure where all the excellent ratings came from.

Thank you for your review. The listing does state that this apartment is in a building with apartments on the 2nd floor. The apartment that you rented is about 300 square feet and the ac unit for the apartment is for a 500 square foot area which will cool adequately. I've found that if you have the setting on fan vs cool it might seem that it's not cool. Our landscaper comes on Thursdays, I believe the week day that you had traveled we had alot of rain that week which tends to move mulch and wind carry dust with it. We would have been more than happy to help you use the ac unit so that you were comfortable. As always I can be reached anytime and am just a few minutes away if any guest needs assistance or there is a problem.

Lovely apartment, convenient location
Publié le 31 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayI reserved the property for a last minute getaway and was glad to be able to bring my dog. Chay was so helpful and check in was super easy. Bed was very comfortable and the apartment had everything I needed. There are other units in the building but I never heard any of my neighbors. Thank you!
