Publié le 8 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe perfect cottage in the most beautiful place on earth. The little touches like flowers and candles were lovely and the bacon and eggs went down a treat.
Sitting out the front looking at the beautiful garden was divine. The fact that we could take our four legged friend was even better. Thank you for an amazing few days. Will be back!!

comfortable stay in Auburn

Quaint cottage
Publié le 19 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayA lovely little cottage however a few touches were poor, for example a fee of $15 to use the firewood, a cleaning fee for the bbq and a fee if you did not vacuum the cottage before departure, all a bit over the top!

Hi Braham. The fees for the BBQ is for when it's left dirty for our housekeeper to clean. Guedts mostly do the right thing and BBQ is not often left dirty so no charge would apply. And the vacuum only applies for those with pets. Wood unfortunately is very expensive to purchase and to get delivered. And it would be unfair to simply raise the cost of every booking. So a we apply a pay per use fee for the wood. Glad you loved the stay and hope.

A well equipped little cottage

Clean and in a good location
Publié le 22 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayThis property is clean and in a location that is walking distance to Auburn cellar doors and pub. This property has no cooling or heating in the bedrooms. We arrived on an extremely hot day and were disappointed to discover there was no cooling for the bedrooms. Thank you to Cory who looks after the properties for arranging to bring in a portable water cooler that cooled the main bedroom down.

Thank you for your feedback. The main a/c is large enough to heat and cool the entire house. Once it's on it does not take too long to cool or heat up the cottage. The wood heater in winter also effectively warm up the entire cottage.

Absolute serenity!
Publié le 13 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayWhat a gem this delightful cottage is. Superbly located - we walked everywhere admiring the glorious gardens. Spotlessly clean - wonderful bird life. Lots of supplies to keep us fed - I cannot recommend this highly enough for a thoroughly relaxing break away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

Disappointing
Publié le 13 mars 2023 sur HomeAwayGreat location but unfortunately the cleaning had a lot to be desired. The cottage is a bit dated but with a little TLC it would be a great place. The bed was very hard so unfortunately we left a day earlier than originally booked.
