Welcome to Seven Oaks, an exquisite lakefront retreat nestled on the highly coveted east side of Owasco Lake (387 Cottonwood Lane - Firelane 4). Situated a mere 2 miles from the renowned REV Theater, less than 5 miles from the vibrant city of Auburn, and only 8 miles from the charming village of Skaneateles, this two-story lakefront cottage promises an unparalleled escape for your dream vacation.

Enter the welcoming main floor, where the essence of home comes to life. The well-appointed, recently renovated kitchen invites culinary adventures and is joined by the spacious dining room and comfortable living area, forming a delightful space for shared experiences and entertaining. The main floor also includes a convenient full bathroom and and the added practicality of a washer and dryer. The oversized master suite is located on the main level and includes a brand new private deck, queen bed, large closet and storage, gorgeous lake views, and an ensuite with tub/shower, sink, and toilet. Conveniently located off the dining and living rooms, step outside to the expansive deck, designed for relaxation, and enjoy breathtaking lake views and seven mature oak trees. It's a perfect retreat for moments of tranquility, leisure, and lakeside dining!

Head to the second floor, which includes a bedroom and an adjacent space that sleeps up to four. Providing comfort and flexibility, there are two twin beds in one area and a queen bed in the other to accommodate the needs of your guests or family.

This cottage is thoughtfully designed to enhance your experience, ensuring comfort, convenience, and a seamless connection to the scenic beauty of Owasco Lake.

The cottage served our needs perfectly. The accomodations were comfortable and clean. Sunsets and moon rises were stunning. Evening campfires by the lake were magical. We enjoyed hosting family and friends during our stay. Rick, the host, checked in on us periodically by text message. He picked up the trash and recyclables every few days. Amazing sunsets!
This property had everything we needed for a relaxing lake vacation. The cottage was spacious, the furnishings were comfortable, and the kitchen had all the essentials. The living room and large deck are facing west, providing the best sunset view every evening. The neighborhood was quiet yet close to activities in the town of Auburn. The dock was great for fishing and having kayaks available was a bonus. Rick’s hospitality is amazing! I would love to stay here again!

No downsides to this property at all. Lovely lake view without moving from the sofa. Beautiful sunsets. Great coffee pot and kitchen amenities. Comfortable furnishings, great deck, with lots of seating and quiet neighborhood. Great place to recharge ypur batteries.

The Very Best
There are not enough superlatives to rate this property! The spectacular view sitting on the deck makes it all worthwhile! But that’s just the icing. It’s a perfect location. I’ve stayed at a number of places but this one outshines them all. I literally did not have to bring anything. Kitchen is well stocked with every item you will need. The “manager” certainly makes you feel welcomed and concerned you are comfortable with everything you need. If I could give more stars, I would! MLT

The deck and dock provided stunning panoramas and opportunities for water sports. The nearby towns and attractions added extra excitement. Owasco Lake's proximity to wineries, hiking trails, and daily treats at nearby Tom Thumb and Seb’s added an extra layer of excitement to our stay, ensuring there was always something new to explore. I had the pleasure of staying at this lakefront cottage recently, and it was an absolute delight. Riccardo was very responsive and I really appreciated that;thank you Ricardo. The location is great; loved watching sunsets on the lake every night. Sadly the whole house and deck need lots of TLC!!! The house needs central a/c; it got very hot at night to sleep. The bbq grill is rusted. The toilet seat downstairs needs securing. The whole interior needs to be painted. It could be a very nice house! The deck needs to be sanded and stained. Bed was comfortable.

We really enjoyed this property’s location. It was a beautiful view of the lake. We were the first visitors of the season so there were some glitches. Thankfully the host was very kind and responsive to everything. It was the perfect size for our family to enjoy a graduation weekend and time together.

Location, views, and amenities galore!
We absolutely LOVED our stay at Seven Oaks! The home is beautiful inside and out with everything you need (inside and out) to make your stay exceptional! The kitchen is well-equipped; the kayaks are so much fun; there's a great dock to sit on over the water, and ample deck and yard space for everyone. The hosts went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed (including setting up the fire pit for us) and were comfortable. I HIGHLY recommend staying here for your next vacation in the Finger Lakes. The views of the lake are spectacular from nearly every room in the house. We can't wait to come back. One week wasn't long enough!

Excellent view and colorful sunsets
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, mostly due to the great view - no matter the weather conditions - from inside in the family room. The owner was quick to respond to questions and to bring needed supplies after we arrived. The long walk down to lakeside was worth the effort though in mid October the cool winds would chase us back inside. The accommodations were cozy enough, but the main floor doubled as a constant sobriety test, which kept us on our toes! It would have been nice if the gas fireplace worked on some of the colder nights. Thanks for sharing your house!
