We sincerely apologize for the maintenance issue that arose as you were preparing to check out; we acted promptly to resolve it.We also regret that you were not aware our onsite restaurant has been closed for over a year. While we understand this may have been disappointing, there are several wonderful dining options nearby that we encourage you to explore.We value your loyalty and understand that you had high expectations based on your previous visits. We were delighted! Beautiful area, friendly staff, lovely restaurant attached! We were even upgraded to a suite!
Would definitely recommend and hope to return!

We stayed 3 nights. The receptionist Emma was very pleasant and helpful. She explained some of the history and showed us binders of old photos and notes that documented the history of the inn.The inn looks beautiful and the grounds are very pleasing. We had a continental breakfast each morning and were given information about nearby restaurants and attractions. This was a base to explore the area. We stayed on the third floor, which is reached by stairs. The inn was quiet except for the creak of those stairs and we spent pleasant evenings playing cards in the common areas.
