Emplacement : Bien situé, à 5 mn du Golf de Gleneagles !
Cet hôtel ne mérite pas d'être sur les listes d'Expédia...
Les chambres sont propres, mais durant 3 jours, pas d'eau chaude ! N'avons pas pu émigrer ailleurs, car notre empreinte de carte de crédit était chez l'hôtelier qui nous demandait 140€ de désistement...
Le salon, faisant office de pub, était dans un état lamentable (canapés défoncés, tables sales). Cuisine correcte pour le restaurant, mais sur des tables recouvertes de plastiques qui n'avaient pas vu un bon décrassage depuis longtemps (mes mains collaient sur la table, répugnant...).

I liked the staff, the in-house food and drink.
This is a working pub so it's noisy at night time when the staff are tidying up downstairs and constantly in and out the doors. 10.30pm until 24.00 was nosiy enough to keep me awake and stop me falling asleep.

Room was lovely but tight stair to get upstairs and managed to fall with luggage when leaving.. carpet thread bare on stairs. Breakfast and breakfast staff member excellent. Main downfall for me was bedroom was above extremely noisy pub with loud music till midnight. I had gone to bed as shattered from driving but no chance of sleep.

Not much wrong, but please fix the door
Publié le 23 août 2024 sur HotelsWelcome was good and check in was quick. We were shown to our room which was a little smaller than i expected, but it was functional. Bathroom was large. Breakfast on day 1 was an issue as the single person on shift seemed to be cooking and serving, but could not get the gas to light which had clearly flustered her. To be fair she made the best of a bad job. The only real problem i had was the entry door to the hotel area which slammed closed every time it was used. Our room rattled like the set of Crossroads at 6am, which i assume was when staff were arriving for work. Get this fixed and it would have been 4* across the board

Tired looking place, no wardrobe/ hanging space, tiny rooms

Comfortable bed, cool (but not cold) shower.
Publié le 1 juill. 2024 sur HotelsCheck-in was easy but the hotel couldn't establish if I had pre-paid for breakfast. I offered to pay again on the understanding that I would be refunded if I had pre-paid; for the record my e-mail indicated it was, but their on-screen display indicated it was not.
