This is my go to place to stay as I frequently visit Nz. The staff always helpful and attentive . I recommend to try it out you won’t regret it . It’s also clean and safe.

The jet tub was great after a late flight. Lovely bed. No pick up from motor inn as after 11pm. $40 from taxi for a 4 km ride, but got the $10 shuttle back to car hire the next morning. People were very nice. If you have an early or late flight this option may not suit…

We selected the Airport Manor Inn due to proximity to the airport and free transfer from airport. We tried to call the Hotel from the airport at about 2pm on check in day and they would not answer the phone, so we had to take a Taxi which cost NZ$50 for just 4km. The hotel does not offer any food and the nearest shops and restaurants are a 30 minute walk away. The rooms are dated and need work.

The hotel was clean and tidy, but a bit run down. They advertised airport shuttle which is why I chose them, but then had no way of actually get the shuttle which wound up costing $60 for a taxi. Also the info in the in room services book was totally out of date so had no idea what restaurants were available. Many I walked to had clearly been out of business for a long time.

We arrived late in the evening and left early the next morning, so I can’t address what’s nearby. The room was very clean and had what we needed. The only downer we noticed was that the driver to the airport the next morning wasn’t very pleasant or helpful. We would stay there again.

I found the reception very pleasant. No complaints about the two units i stayed in. Helpful to have airport shuttle service. Would stay there again. Easy access to units with a wheelie walker.
