Property was older but clean and tidy. The staff were very helpful, dining had selections for everyone. No lift but staff carried our bags upstairs straight away with a smile. Bus to airport prompt and every few minutes. Room was large and clean, showing a bit of wear, but certainly value for costs. An easy and enjoyable stay. John

The staff are so lovely and friendly. I was disappointed with the chicken buffalo wings ordered as room service withoust a try , cutlery napkin or s&p. . Just a plate of large chicken winks with bbq sauce all over it. The placement soup was canned. Beds were divine and the hotel is upgraded. It’s fine for the price. Just order a curry as I’m sure that option will be delicious!

No light bulb above bed, dripping noisey tap in bathroom, and door was squeaky, hard to get in and out of the shower, needs a rail, breakfast I had mouldy bread and staff member not really care, however reception was good

Cheap hotel near Airport
This was part of a longer trip, so I had a lot of luggage that needed to be repacked as this one-night stay was at the end of the road trip and before my flights. I'm 70 years old and have mobility challenges, so it was quite awkward to have an upstairs room as there was no elevator and I had to drag my suitcases etc up and down the stairs. Also, the room smelled bad when I checked in. They sent a housekeeper to spray some stuff around the room but the improvement was quite short-lived. I had a meal in the restaurant and it was quite good.

Our room as clean. There were 2 chairs to sit on and the bed was comfortable. Free shuttle to and from Airport ( takes about 35 minutes as it stops along the way to pick up other passengers). My only criticism is that we couldn’t get enough heat out of the heat pump). Nice Restaurant. All in all, a good place to stay overnight.

The room was very nice for the $100/night that we payed for - it had a big bathroom, a nice view from the window, a TV, a small workspace with a desk and chair, it was clean and tidy. The fan in the toilet didn't work unfortunately and there was an odd smell walking through the hallways outside the rooms. I could hear muffled talking from the room next door as we went to sleep but luckily they didn't talk too late. We were able to use the sky bus for free in the morning to catch our flight at Auckland Airport which was very convenient. There weren't many good food options around so we used the restaurant at the hotel for dinner. The food was a bit hit-or-miss and overpriced but the curry tasted decent. We spent $64 for two people and the portions were kind of small. I wouldn't recommend the cheesecake on the menu.
