Just stayed here last night and wasn’t overly impressed. Chromecast wouldn’t work in our room, in room phone also wasn’t working. The cord for kettle wasn’t long enough to plug into the wall plug in the kitchen which seemed odd. Room seemed pretty outdated in general. We did find parking great next door at just $8 for 24 hours and the bed was comfy!

Very good. Clean and well presented. Great rooms and close to everything. Parking is a bit expensive however

Parkside was fairly centrally located, just a few minutes walk from the city. It was nice to be a bit further away from the city and offered a quiet space amongst the hustle and bustle of the city.

Good value but needs some love
Posted Aug. 4, 2024 on HotelsStarting to really show its age and somewhat run down in places, but good value for what it cost. I would say that don't rely on the internet for anything though – it was abysmal and i couldn't do any work on the Hotel wifi.

Hotel itself is great, staff were helpful and friendly but the area outside the hotel can feel a bit unsafe at times.
Really convenient for central Auckland though.
