Fantastic house - peaceful spot in paradise

Owner was available and helpful from the start. Location was a bit out of the way, but that was perfect as it was quiet and very peaceful.
Would suggest having a vehicle.
But can’t fault the joint.
Excellent place to stay - 5 stars 🌟

Another great getaway
Publié le 31 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayGreat base for our 5 days of winery dinning including a session at the Irish Pub where they changed the channel to Supercars for us.
The weather wasnt flash so couldnt take full advantage of the cottage deck cooking and eating and relaxing but heat pump kept us warm inside.
The setting is quite surreal

The secret hide away.

Located high up on the side of a bay, offering gorgeous views and the feeling of staying in a treehouse. We enjoyed have breakfast on the deck watching the wood pigeons. As a bonus there is a trail out the back that leads to the bay or around the point that leads to other walking trails or shopping. Ostend is in the center of the island and offers the largest grocery store and access to a bakery, coffee shops and many restaurants, all can be walked to or a short drive. This Bach is very peaceful a great couples get-away.

Absolutely perfect

Privacy but close to Ostend (Island Coffee for the best coffee and pastries) and the Saturday market. The kitchen/dining area opens up on two sides to the deck area which has dappled sun and shade through the native bush. It was so beautiful in the sunny weather but would be a lovely space too for bad weather - sitting inside and reading with high airy ceilings and views out to the water. The kitchen is well equipped.
Chris was super easy to contact and adding a friend in on the sofa bed for one night was no problem.
We loved this house and would come back in a flash.

Absolutely Beautiful

The home is beautifully designed with a huge multi-layered deck and the glass walls open up to make you feel like your living in a tree house and overlooking the ocean. It is clean and has a well appointed kitchen with everything you could need to cook or BBQ. Highly recommend this place.
