Chambre propre, un peu désuet. Bien situé au centre. Stationnement intérieur facile.

There were Road works directly outside the hotel, starting noisily around 06:30 daily - no the fault of the hotel,. of course.
But the lift was not working - my room was on the 2nd floor, I am 81 years old and have to walk with a stick, so that was difficult.

Zeer oud gebouw dat op een oude kazerne lijkt binnenin.
Simpele kamer boven keuken met gevolg dat deze ook zo rook door open kantelraam bij aankomst.
Zeer net maar een back to the 70’s gevoel door het ouderwets interieur.
Zeer warm, dus met open raam slapen was nodig, wat door lawaai ‘s nachts niet fijn was. Ook door de werken aan de straat aan de voorkant was er in de vroege morgen extreem veel lawaai.
Het vriendelijke personeel maakte veel goed.

Hot and humid during summer
Publié le 10 sept. 2024 sur HotelsHot and humid during summer. Would avoid during hot summer months as the building just absorbs heat and has no AC. The breakfast buffet is uncovered so there were flies on the meats and melons.
Positives is the location is perfect and has a car park (very cramped and hard to park)
Very good pros balanced by very bad cons.

Dear Amit Thank you for taking the time to send our Hotel feedback. We would like to address the points you made as follows:The hotel is directly in the inner old city of Augsburg. The building regulations are as such that it is not possible to install air conditioning in these older buildings. Many of the hotels in the inner city of Augsburg do not have air conditioning.Our breakfast buffet is always cooled and is regularly refilled with fresh foods for our guests by staff.It is a privilege nowadays to be able to offer our guests a parking space directly in the city at a reasonable price - unfortunately, motor vehicles are being manufactured larger and our garage cannot (again due to building regulations) be altered to accommodate the rapid change in the size of cars.
