Take note of the description - the driveway was very steep and there were little feet running around upstairs, nothing that would deter us from staying again but just something to note if you’re booking!

Nice Spot, Great Location, Could Improve

Did not like the policy of requiring that I pay for damage insurance or a $3k deposit. On top of the known %30-40 of fees and taxes you’re going to incur on these rental property sites, I did not appreciate being cornered into that additional expense.
Coffee machine had not been cleaned to the point of being very moldy. Not a big deal but definitely clean that thoroughly.
The property above theirs rental was quite noisy as well.

Lucas, we're sorry to hear that you had a poor experience with VRBO booking fees, the damage policy approach, and then on top of all that, the coffee maker at our property was not properly cleaned. First thank you for bringing the coffee maker to our attention so that we can point this out to the cleaning service so future guests can avoid the experience you had. As for the fees and the damage policy; we are using the standard/recommended damage policy approach; we don't require additional deposit money; and do not have added/hidden checkout fees. I don't know why VRBO doesn't list the insurance policy fee in the initial list of fees (I did call VRBO support tonight to make sure you weren't incorrectly charge at booking). Finally, since our professional cleaning service is on the higher side, we have taken this into account by adjusting our rates to accommodate the total price. Again, we're sorry to hear that your stay was not perfect.

NICE HOME AND GREAT LOCATION
Publié le 30 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayVisiting Austin to see our son at UT. Home was really nice for the three of us and to get him out of his near campus apartment for a weekend.
Home was VERY well appointed with everything you need to dine in if you wish to cook or close to great restaurants if that is your jam. My son appreciated record player in the living room which he'd NEVER personally seen before, and I told him how great vinyl sounds with the old school pops and cracks as we got pretty deep into a Boston album provided by the hosts.
If you like to walk, this home is DIRECTLY across the street from Barton Springs pool and the network fo trails that snake along the shores of Barton Creek and the Colorado River through Austin, Just be mindful the driveway is steep and I recommend backing in to make it easier when you depart. Hosts were great and made the stay VERY easy and enjoyable. I highly recommend this location. I plan to stay again in the future if available.

Spacious and clean
Publié le 16 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThis property is wonderful. It’s located across the street from Zilker Park. We just walked over and enjoyed the park. The unit itself is new. Spacious. Clean. And comfortable. If you’re sensitive to noise, there is some noise during the day from upstairs. But totally quiet from 8 pm to 7 am. We enjoy our stay very much.

The hosts were responsive and friendly. You can hear the pitter patter of little feet upstairs in the main home but it was minimal and not disturbing to us. Highly recommend a stay here.
