Family and friends had a great long weekend stay! Don’t forget to hit up the beach club. Beautiful view plenty of space, all of the cooking amenities you could ask for.

Property was very clean and comfortable. The deck was nice and spacious. We would definitely go again. Bill reached out before we got there to let me know about some work being done and made himself available for any other issues.

Great but unfortunate!

House was great, just really disappointed. Listing showed two great pictures of a fireplace on the patio, except when we got there, we found out we could not use it. Emailed owner twice during stay, no response. Keypad for door entry turned off 10:35 am when check out is 11:00 am. Overall great property would never stay with this owner again, just poorly managed and expectations not met.

I would like to mention a couple of things regarding this review. First is, the Traveller called me before leaving home and shared his dismay with learning from our correspondence emails they would not be able to use the fireplace because it is against our City Ordinance for STR Travellers to use them. This restriction is in writing in several of our emails once a reservation is made. So knowledge of this restriction was known before the Traveller’s arrival. Secondly, regarding the key pad code, yes, we acknowledge the code turned off early-that is our fault. However, the date this happened was the Saturday of New Years and yes, we were not in front of our computers to see the two emails, however, our phone number is posted in a number of places in the property and in our correspondence emails. We carry our phones ALL the time and this issue could have been resolved immediately if the Traveller would have simply called. After this all transpired, the Traveller and I spoke on the phone and I asked why he didn’t just call me and their response was they didn’t want to bother me on the Holiday weekend. In summary I sincerely apologize for any acts of fault from the management side. However, I also think the Traveller could have gone about things a little different also.

Fabulous resort area and perfect size house

House is really an excellent rental. Beautiful space, views, outdoor porch and the resort area amenities are awesome. The fourth bedroom is outside above the garage and more cottage-y than the nice main house. The beds and linens need a refresh and more pillows for each bed would make it more comfortable.

Awesome cottage and scenery! Everyone enjoyed it! The only issues was the parking bc that part of Texas is extremely hilly! Conveniently located around stores and restaurants.

Scenic views relaxing weekend

The property itself and the stay was amazing! The only drawback is the abundance of paperwork and hoops to jump through to use amenities. Its very clear there is an established HOA that may not be as accommodating for short-stay guest. There was also a burn ban in place that I was unaware of during the booking process, which didn't allow the use of the fire places in the entire area.

Needs some upgrades, cleaning, and a new AC

We loved staying at the Hollows. It’s a great vacation resort. If we return we probably will book a different unit. Our biggest complaint was the AC. The house could not get below 80, which made it very difficult to get some relief from the TX heat. In addition to the AC needing and upgrade the house needs a deep thorough cleaning (floors, windows, upholstery) and the appliances (from coffee maker to iron) need to upgraded. Many of the appliances are in need of replacement and are more than 20 years old.
