Publié le 30 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayCamp Sandy is the perfect place for a family get away. There is so much to do for everyone and the house is a great fit for lots of kids. Very comfortable family area. This was our third stay and we are looking forward to the next one.

Boys Trip

David was an exceptional host, giving a highly informative tour at check-in and maintaining excellent communication throughout our stay. The property fit 20 grown men comfortably and always had something fun to do at the house. David provided great recommendations even before our trip began. Overall tremendous experience and would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you!!

Family reunion at Camp Sandy
Publié le 21 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe came to Camp Sandy for the UT football game and a family reunion. The house and property were amazing! The host, David, was super helpful and responded quickly to questions or needs. He even brought us some local food. The house is enormous with lots of kitchen space (4 refrigerators!), lots of king bedrooms and games to play both inside and outside. The pool and hot tub were a hit too. The only problem was that the lake levels are down so we couldn't do some of the water sports like kayaking. That said, I can assure you that you won't be disappointed with your stay.

Stellar property and communication

Great Lake House!
Publié le 5 août 2024 sur HomeAwayHad my bachelor party here and it was amazing. The house is beautiful, with a whole property including a pool and a hot tub. David was fantastic, and was very communicative. David got our group breakfast tacos one morning and tiffs cookies on the last night. Highly recommend!

Camp Sandy is amazing!

David was the best host we've ever had and the property is perfect - so much room, so many outdoor and indoor activities, and the house itself was great. Would 100% recommend and we will definitely be going back.

Good place for 3 day family reunion
Publié le 5 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayProperty location was good with access to retail and food trucks. The property is not near water since the lake is low. And we didn't find a path to the water. Great room and kitchen on upper level were wonderful as was the game room in lower level.
Be aware that the pool, which got a lot of use, is away from the property (very short hike) and there is a hill to descend, and the return is a climb up. Then there are steps to the upper level.
Lots of fun things to do both inside and out.
Drawback was the mattresses except for me and my wife who had the master suite (very nice).
Overall, I would recommend this with the understanding that we knew what we had going in. Plus, our 7 grandchildren, ages 3 to 18 were never bored. How do we know? Because they never complained, and they want to do this next year.
P.S. Bring bottled water because the location has well water that is not tasteful.
