Anniversary getaway

Peaceful Getaway at Island of Lake Travis

Nice stay, good property
Publié le 14 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a lovely weekend on Lake Travis. The host was helpful and communicative. The property itself was good but not great.
Pros:
• The location of the property overlooking the lake is incredible, and the view is amazing.
• The apartment was well supplied with things like coffee, dish soap, etc.
• The host warned us to be careful of deer when driving to the complex. And she was not kidding. There were hundreds of them! We love seeing wildlife and did not mind driving extra slow. It was so cool to see that many deer on and around the property.
Cons:
• Most thing about the apartment seem a bit dated. There’s nothing terribly wrong. It just has the feel of a place that’s 20 - 30 years old and in need of some renovation.
• The complex could use a store on site to buy simple things like milk, bread, cereal, etc. It’s a bit of a hike to get to the grocery store.
Overall nice stay — good but not great.

Glad to hear you had a good overall stay at the Bella Lago condo. Just as an fyi, all the furniture has been purchased within the last 2-3 yrs with some as recent as last year. The pictures accurately depict the current status of the condo. As far as the distance of the resort from grocery stores, it is clear in the description on the site the distance to the nearest stores.

Great weekend getaway!

Relaxing weekend
