Just for clarity sake for others who are interested in this property... The cottage is private. It’s detached from the main house. The backyard however is shared with the owners. We rarely see our guests and we seldom use our pool and we keep all windows that face the pool covered for our guests privacy. Hopefully this helps with some clarity.

Cozy and incredibly relaxing

The pool area was a great place to lounge with a book (or work) while our son enjoyed a swim. Trisha was incredibly friendly and helpful. It was an ideal location for a staycation and we look forward to booking again.

Just Perfect!

It was just as you see it in the pictures: clean, 2 electric waterfalls, colorful lights at night, and pool toys for everyone. The ambiance of the Edison patio lights made it picture perfect. Excellent hosts who give you ultimate privacy and are there when you need them. If you are even slightly hesitant about the level of privacy by staying in this guest home, I can reassure you, it is more and what you expect! You'll LOVE it!!! Deer every morning and evening to view on their open field. They come right up to the treehouse by the pool. This home had all that we needed. Unlike a townhome, villa, or condo, this location allowed our kid to go in and out to play without having to worry. Took a walk down the quiet road while our son biked and enjoyed seeing the homes spread out in the open area.
As a teacher with specific attention to detail and one who values aesthetics and cleanliness, I give her an A++++!!!!!!

Amazing property and hosts
Publié le 13 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayI can't say enough about our stay at Whitetail Cottage. The location is 5 minutes away from a major shopping center that has everything you might need. The accomodations were amazing. Where do I begin? Open floor layout, very comfortable bed (I think I slept better than at home), excellent AC and heating system, spacious kitchen with all the essential kitchenware. But best of all was the host, Trish. You couldn't ask for a more attentive and responsive host.
