Secluded quiet property.

A Nice Little Break

There were some board games and it was great just to sit back and unwind. Thank you so much for making this quick getaway for our family so fun.

Peaceful Weekend Retreat
Publié le 5 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe were extremely pleased with our vrbo getaway. Although that leg of the lake was dry, we enjoyed the beautiful rolling hills on the porch swing. We were also pleased to sleep on a comfortable bed, and our hosts answered all questions quickly. We would rent this property again!

Perfect setting!
Publié le 3 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayGender Reveal of our first grandchild! Great open space. Too hot to go outside for very long but everyone was comfortable inside. Sitting on the covered porch that evening with the fans going was comfortable and so peaceful. We slept like babies on the super comfortable bed. Coffee on the porch in the morning was just as peaceful. If back in the area we will defiantly stay here again.

Perfect place to un-plug for the weekend

Cozy and clean getaway

Beware: description and pictures are misleading.
Publié le 1 juin 2024 sur HomeAway***The house has an ac unit not central air. There is NOT a unit in the master bedroom. It never got cool enough to be able to sleep in.
The only way to get into the spare bedroom is from *OUTSIDE and the only entrance to the spare bathroom is also outside with no ac. We had have a 3 and a 1 year old that we planned on sleeping in the spare room but that wasn’t an option once we realized it wasn’t accessible from the inside of the house. I was upset. This needs to be fixed on the description. We had all four of us piled in a room because of this. If it hadn’t been for Memorial Day weekend and other places open we would have left.
The grass was not cut. The furniture is light so you can see how dirty it is.
I’m still upset about this. I feel tricked. the poor description and that they think the ac situation is okay is ridiculous.

Dear Hannah, I am sorry to hear of your experience. The main home is less than 800 sq ft and we haven't had any complaints about the mini split not being sufficient to cool the space. The space in the listing titled: Rooms and Beds goes into detail about how the home and bedrooms are laid out specifically for families with small children. It specifically says "The secondary bedroom has a seperate entrance. Request details if you are bringing small kiddos to make sure you are going to be happy and comfortable."
Regardless, we are sorry you did not see this information. We work hard to provide a clean and relaxing environment and are disappointed to hear you did not enjoy yourself. Please feel free to reach out to me ~ We would love a chance to host you again and provide a better experience.
