Expect to be charged a $100 security deposit upon checking in. Room was remodeled heavily and could see all repairs on the walls, ceilings, and floors etc. I didn’t even bother to report anything I only stay one night. Just made sure to take pictures of everything just in case they tried to keep the $100 deposit, that I was forced to adhere.

I am so sorry to hear that your experience was less than perfect Eduardo. I have our maintenance and housekeeping department surveying the room you stayed in and will address concerns accordingly. The deposit is standard across the industry but I understand your frustrations with it. Most deposit across all hotels, no matter the Brand, will return to the guests card anywhere between 3 to 5 days after guest checks out. If it doesn't you are welcome to reach out to the hotel to assist with process.

Sonesta is SUPERB
