Avalon Gem
Publié le 20 août 2024 sur HomeAwayOur family of 6 adults and 4 children truly enjoyed our stay! The house was perfectly located between the beach and town. It was an easy 2 block walk to the beach which brought us to the beginning of the boardwalk. Great for morning walks and fun at the playground for the kids. The 1 block walk to town brought us close to restaurants, the market and mini golf. We never used our car.
The house is spacious, especially the main floor with an enormous kitchen fully stocked with everything you need. The pool, although modest in size, was perfect for our 4 grandchildren under the age of 5. The adults enjoyed lounging around the pool in the outdoor cabana. Sheila was easy to work with and we look forward to returning.

Publié le 10 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayI highly recommend this property. Location was perfect. It was very clean. We had great communication with the owner. The only improvement would be the grill. We had to clean it extensively to use it. Other than that, it was perfect.

Wonderful home
Publié le 18 août 2023 sur HomeAwayEverything was perfect. Only downside is a neighbor next door that complains constantly about noise, even loud talking at 8:30pm. We were all in bed by 11pm so if your a loud late group this won’t be the house for you.

Hi, Shannon. I know we spoke off-line about the neighbor. When we spoke, the timeline was just a few minute before quiet hours, which start at 10pm in Avalon. However, your review makes it seem like it was far earlier then that. The neighbors had a sick baby and they did their best to communicate with your group about the upcoming quiet hours. Each has their side of the story and we do our best to keep the guests happy, but also be respectful of all the neighbors around the property. We're glad that you had a great trip overall and appreciate that your group chose to stay at our property. Thank you!

Beach Week
Publié le 15 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe house is very well equipped. Our only problem was with the outdoor grill which almost caught fire when it was first lit. It was covered in grease. We had to basically take it apart and clean it. Also, as you noted, the shower in the first floor back bedroom drains very slowly. But basically the house is great . We had a wonderful week and hope to return next year.
