There was no heat in the room. And that night was pretty cold. They lent me a very small heater, which was nice of them, but was making a lot of noise. At least it helped. Nice people at the front.

Rooms are old and plain, but very large and quite adequate for an overnight stay. The noise from the nightclub at the bottom of the hotel was, however, extremely loud and made it hard to get to sleep until it stopped around 1am. After that, it was fine.

Worst ever customer service
Publié le 12 août 2024 sur HotelsWhen checking in I asked about what a paper on the wall at the reception in spanish means. It was an offer mentioning something about airport and the price of 6,5€. I asked if it is a price for transportation to the airport, even specifying that is it like an airport taxi. The receptionist said yes and asked if she can make a booking for that service. I thus canceled my bus ticket accordingly. I checked later before going to bed if the taxi reservation is ok for an early schedule. I was now being given the answer that the note on the wall is a parking fee at the airport. I asked how much a taxi to the airport costs, receiving an answer ”I don’t know”. I told the receptionist to cancel this taxi booking, which she did, but when I gave the receptionist feedback that I was given information about an ”airport transportation service” earlier, she just shook her head and said ”no” – insisting that I would have not been given this promise. Basically she meant that I was, somehow, wrong about what I had been told esrlier. The correct reply would have been to frankly just tell that the earlier receptionist had misunderstood, and maybe even apologise on the occasion. But what I got was just a denial of what I had been told. You cannot do much worse than to blame the customer about your mistake. Due to the lack of the most basic level of customer service skills I can not honestly recommend to stay in this hotel. Town was lovely, but this place something else.

Ci hanno una dato una camera umida con aria condizionata rumorosa e finestra che si affacciava verso l'interno. Dotazioni molto spartane, tv, e tutto il.resto . E nessun sorriso alla reception da parte del personale

Buen hotel en la zona peatonal de Avilés. Los muebles son un poco antiguos, pero cumplen su función. Personal muy atento.
