Publié le 28 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayAll I can say is WOW! Frank and Linda are absolutely great folks and the view from the back porch was beautiful! Linda was so thoughtful and had baked muffins, cookies, and an anniversary package for us! Btw her baking skills are level 10! I very much enjoyed visiting with Frank at our check in. The proposer was PEACEFUL exactly what we were looking for. We will 100% be making a return visit to this gem in east texas.

Great experience
Publié le 15 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayProperty was as described and very comfortable for us and our pups. Caught some fish, saw a magnificent sunrise, and the extra bonus was meeting Frank and Linda. They simply made our experience so special from Linda’s surprise homemade treats to Franks contagious laughter. Genuine beautiful people💕. Definitely going back!

Relaxing retreat
Publié le 17 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayFrom the moment we started talking with Frank and Linda about booking, they were so kind, even wanting to provide a treat for our dog if he was with us. As soon as we walked in the door, the peace and serenity of the place greeted us, along wth homemade goodies (we ate them all over the weekend). The view of the lake was breathtaking. We rested a lot, and kayaked. I would recommend taking a couple of travel hammocks because napping under the pines hearing the water gently moving was so refreshing. Frank has beautiful woodworking for sel but more than that, both he and Linda was so sweet to talk with. We will definitely be back.

East Texas Hidden Gem
Publié le 5 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayCute little 1 room 1 bath cabin for 2 that’s pet friendly and on the lake. Everything is as clean as can be, neat & orderly. The owners are extremely friendly, and go above and beyond to make sure you’re completely happy and comfortable. They’re very helpful and communicative. When we arrived we were met at the driveway by Frank who offered to help carry things in. He goes over everything with you and makes sure you understand before he leaves. We were also greeted with muffins, cookies, and treats for our dogs all made by Linda. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Thanks again for sharing this cabin with us!! We will definitely be back!

Perfect little cabin for couple

They walk you through the unit and Linda made some awesome treats not only for us but for the dogs as well! We will be regular customers after one stay!

The lake was practically in the backyard from the house and had the perfect place to fish from. The hosts were very helpful and we enjoyed talking with them. Most relaxing, serene and enjoyable 3 days ever
Publié le 24 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis little cabin on the lake in the woods located off some back roads was everything and more that i was looking for. It had everything you needed (besides food) that you would needed for a weekend stay. We showed up on Friday afternoon with our groceries and didn't have to leave until Sunday. They even had the kayaks there so you can spend some time on the lake. Frank and Linda are a hoot and i loved talking to them. Linda will have some homemade treats there waiting on you. I am definitely going to be back.

A little piece of paradise!!
Publié le 20 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayEvery thing was PERFECT!!!! Best getaway for 2 adults!!! From Frank's funny personality to Linda's fresh baked goodies, our stay was magnificent!!! Even though our last day was filled with rain from the remnants of Hurricane Beryl, it was real peaceful and relaxing!!! This place has no TV, thus giving us time to talk with and focus on each other!!! You will not be disappointed!!!!
