Roaches

We wish you would have told us and we could have addressed the issue.
However Water Bugs are native to this area and tend to head indoors during wet weather.

Good value
Publié le 2 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayUpdated and well kept. Very nice classic Outer Banks style bungalow. We got chased away by Hurricane Idalia but would definitely give this cottage another visit. Really quiet neighborhood at northern end of Avon.

Great Property and Vacation, but Inaccurate Pricing
Publié le 19 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayWe loved Avon's Calling. The house was what we expected and was very clean and well maintained. The only issue was that VRBO listed the second bedroom with a double bed, while it actually had a queen bed. Dolphin Realty had the correct bed size so we were prepared with the correct sheet sizes. My biggest issue with VRBO was that the price listed on their site was completely inaccurate. The total price was about $125 more than listed and the amounts due at various times were completely different. I was disappointed with VRBO for having incorrect prices!

Great house for a great price!

My only complaints were the door wouldn't unlock when we typed the code in but we called the real estate company and they helped us out. Also the dishwasher didn't work and they said they would have someone out to fix it, and that never happened. We just used paper plates and all was good. Well worth the money, excellent location.

We're glad you enjoyed the property! We do apologize about the dishwasher, unfortunately there's only one appliance company on the island and sometimes it takes a little time for them to get down here. Otherwise we're happy to be a part of your vacation memories. You're always welcome back.

Publié le 4 juill. 2022 sur HomeAwayIt was perfect beach home rental for the family. There’s was a very nice large covered deck to sit and have morning coffee or evening dinner. Everything was as described in listing. It’s only a short walk down to beach access (five houses away). The beach is absolutely beautiful!!
