The View
Publié le 4 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayGreat location. Spacious house with wonderful decks and crow's nest to see both the ocean and sound. Even has a walking access to the sound. We were very comfortable. An easy walk to the beach or just a few seconds from a public parking area.

Best location in Avon for windsurfing enthusiasts

We were very satisfied with Glen's welcoming and his team who took care of opening the house, as we were early in the season. The house was spotless and some improvements had been made since our last visit (new dishwasher, etc.) . Glen really cares about the comfort of his tenants. He always responds promptly to all our communications, from trip planning to departure date. We recommend to all sailing enthusiasts to take advantage of the ideal location near the sound and the proximity to the sea. We had a wonderful vacation, thank you Glen!

Nice property on the sound

We like to cook and eat in so were particularly happy to have the well-equipped kitchen and lots of dishes and silverware. The supermarket (Food Lion) and great seafood shop are a short drive away. There are nice sound views from the house and decks and a view of the ocean from the upper deck. The little private beach on the sound is a lovely place to watch the sunset and the ocean is a quick and easy walk away. Glen was great with communications, provided excellent information before our arrival and always got right back to us in response to any questions. We would definitely recommend Maestrale as a rental and Glen as a host.

Bliss at Hatteras
Publié le 24 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe have stayed in Avon many times. Always a treat. This house is at the end of a cul de sac right near the sound and a short walk or drive to the beach. It is not fancy and has a knock out view of the sound and amazing sunsets!
The house itself is clean and well maintained. The host easy to contact and extremely knowledgable of the area.
We booked next year already!

Really enjoy the property

Publié le 28 août 2023 sur HomeAwayMaestrale is tucked into a small neighborhood along the pamlico sound with great access to the outer side of the island as well.
We had 8 people and an infant, and things were feeling a little tight by the end of the week. I’d recommend this property for 6 adults + children as a sweet spot.
The host Glen is super responsive and was very pleasant to work with.

Great OBX Trip

Fabulous Beach House in Avon!

Glen provided excellent information about the area and was quick to respond to questions. We highly recommend this beach house!
