Great for business too!

Excellent and well appointed unit. We used it for meeting space for a leadership forum. Very comfortable seating and plenty of room for our purposes. Excellent and attentive host.

Good Communication with Owner but Disappointing Stay

Communication with owner was easy/great but the Ritz maintains the unit. The highlights: at check in, it took us 2 1/2 hrs to access second bedroom although it was 8pm. The unit was filthy and smelled horribly; it took two days to clean it properly and no apology/communication from the Ritz. The unit owner was apologetic but there is nothing he could do. The owner's contact at the Ritz told me that she got my messages and she passed them along to the Ritz's staff. She also added that I booked with a third party not the Ritz. Basically, if you don't book directly with the hotel, you're out of luck. This was absolutely ridiculous the only reason I booked with unit owner is because I needed a washer/dryer. We have allergies and don’t want our clothes washed by the hotel. There wasn’t a significant price difference between vrbo & Ritz. I didn't bother the unit owner anymore since I couldn’t do anything so I went up the chair to complain – for god sake even the robes in the room were dirty and full of red stains. Afterward, the director of housekeeping apologized and made sure the unit was cleaned properly. As a way of an apology she offered us a couple’s message. At checked out, we realized the couple’s message charge was added to our bill. I’ve stayed at this Ritz few years before and I didn’t have any problem. I guess it’s either no longer as good as it used to be or you have to book directly with them to be treated properly – not sure which one.

I have had numerous conversations with the hotel GM and department management about your unfortunate housekeeping experience which is a service that Ritz provides equally to hotel and private residence owners & guests. I hope you will give the property another chance and please reach out directly to me and I will guarantee the experience will return to Ritz-Carlton standards or your stay is on me.

Pre Christmas trip

67 runs open and less crowded. We had a nice time. February has more snow and more runs available but also more crowded. Room was fantastic.

This is our second year to stay at this property in these connecting rooms over Thanksgiving. We love everything about this Ritz. We will be back!

Terrific stay

We had a terrific week at this property with our family. The unit was spacious for two adults and two kids and made our family ski trip very easy and pleasant. The ability to check-in at the hotel and utilize the ski concierge was particularly helpful and made for a seamless experience. The Ritz at Bachelor Gulch is incredible, with easy access to the ski lift and great restaurants. The owner was communicative and helpful. We'll definitely be back.
