Perfect place to stay and Ride!
I would've gave 5 stars but there were areas of the house that were not very clean (Fridge, parts of the kitchen, hall way full bath) and the living room furniture could be updated. Otherwise the place is fabulous. Enough driveway to park multiple trucks and trailers. Wonderful fire pit out back with chairs. We rode our side by sides directly to the trail system from VRBO - worked out perfect!

Whispering Poplars
From sitting on the patio listening to the poplars to using the spacious kitchen for making meals together, it was a perfect get away time for a group of friends. Great location if you are looking for canoeing and hiking near the BWCA!

Family stay, nestled in the woods
We were able to spend a long weekend at John and Amber’s place with extended family. The home layout was perfect to split our two families in having our own sides of the house, alongside the open shared spaces. The house was stocked with everything we needed for the stay and the open yard allowed for space to run and play. Communication with John was easy before and throughout the stay.

Thank you, John & Amber. You have a beautiful home. The group of 7 enjoyed our stay. We put on over 200 miles of riding the ATV trails in the area. The property is perfect for ATV groups with all the amenities anyone would need. Again, thank you, we will be back.

This place was perfect. lots of parking for multiple trucks and trailers, outlets for charging boats, and the best stocked kitchen you've ever seen. Very comfortable, clean, and quiet. Great space for cooking and gathering and the master suite is amazing! Will definitely stay here again!

Really clean and a great place to spend time with family and friends! Beautiful space to spend time outside but bring bug spray!! My only request is that there are more towels provided. We didn’t have enough for our stay and no fish rags to wipe the counters down. Other than that…great place!

Family Fishing Trip
Great location to lakes and Ely. The owners really have went above and beyond to provide so many amenities for a great stay. The beds and linens were very comfortable which we don’t always find in our VBRO stays. John checked in with us and was readily available for any questions. Will definitely stay again if in Minnesota. The grandsons reeled in the fish from Pike, Walleye, and Small-mouth bass!

Great Cabin in the woods!
John and Amber we’re great hosts, and quick to respond to any questions we had. The house is spacious and clean and the cupboards are full of any amenity you may have forgotten. Location at the end of a road is spectacular for wildlife watching and exploring multiple nearby towns. Would definitely stay again!
