I booked 4 rooms/suites on Nov 18 from the USA. We had a horrible experience. I paid for 2 large rooms “Comfort quadruple rooms” on Expedia /Cottages as on their original website. They have 2 bedrooms, dining room etc & supposed to be 1194 Sq ft. I booked 2 executive rooms which are smaller with single bedroom. They gave us 4 executive rooms (all 550 Sq feet) & refused the comfort quadruple rooms we paid for or upgrade the 2 smaller rooms - as there was a large wedding party next day on for Dec 15, 2022.
The receptionist , Sharma R.A. was screaming at us, was confrontational, refused to “listen” and our party had a very young tired child and a 76 year old grandmother also very tired.
We checked in at 6:30 pm but he didn’t give us the rooms till 8:45 pm. He had disappeared 1/2 way through check in & desk was briefly manned by one who spoke no English or the local language but spoke Hindi & I’m
not fluent.
Large gap between Expedia’s representation of resort and actuality.
I have photos of lobby restrooms with dried feces on floors, and in decrepit state. Also photos of our rooms with cockroaches, sheets with 1/2” holes from insects eating them, dusty stained mattresses etc.
The breakfast buffet was good but they had one item that was spoiled food - awwalaki uppitu.
The resort is old (>10 years) but new owner has not completely cleaned up place. Spent so long getting our room we could not explore or enjoy the facilities. Lovely setting.

It is in a serene beautiful location. The staff are extremely helpful and courteous. Good and beverage is good. The rooms need a bit of upkeep.
