Emplacement magique - le calme absolu
Publié le 25 août 2019 sur HomeAwayNous y avons séjourné en famille pour 5 jours. L'endroit est à quelques minutes de Bagni di Lucca avec une vue incroyable sur les montagnes de forêt. Le calme y est absolu, personne ne vous dérangera! La piscine avec sa vue plongeante sur la vallée et la ville en contrebas est juste fabuleuse.
Pour ceux qui cherchent le repos et la nature, cette maison est parfaite: vous pouvez randonner, faire du canyoning classique, du "accrobranche dans un canyon", yoga sur paddle, baignade dans la rivière en contrebas (en allant vers Abetone, à qq km de la sortie de Bagni se trouve l'Agroturismo Pian di Fiume. juste 200m avant, vous pouvez descendre vous baigner dans le Lima (23° en plein mois d’août!), se garer le long de la route comme tout les autres)
Par contre, si vous venez pour visiter la Toscane, sachez que Bagni est un peu loin de tout et vous allez devoir faire un peu de route: Luques 50min, Pise 1h30, Montecatini 1h, Florence 1h45, Camaiore 1h...
Sinon, rien à dire, c'est beau, neuf, propre, bien équipé, joli, bref, tout ce qu'il faut pour des vacances zéro tracas.
Le supermarché à Bagni (ouvert tlj sauf dimanche aprèm) est largement suffisant pour faire les courses du quotidien. Le marché du mercredi matin est très petit et sans intérêt.
Je conseille un tour en voiture sur les autres villages de la commune de Bagni di Lucca, jolies vues et la toscane du nord dans toute sas splendeur.

A little taste of heaven!

We stayed here for 5 nights in early August and it was perfect
Beautiful location among the hills, private pool and bbq facilities, everything you need
Things to note - the nearest shop is about a 15 minute drive away and the drive is not for the faint hearted! We got lost on the way because we didn’t use the right link that the hosts provided for us
Other than that if you want to fall in love with Italy in a stunning location then stay here! Easy driving distance from Pisa / Lucca

Remote relaxation
Publié le 21 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThe villa is well equipped and a good size for six. Outside there is plenty of space round the pool which gets the sun most of the day. Lucca is half an hour's drive away and great to visit. The location in the hills above Bagne di Lucca is out of the way with lovely views.

Villa in Bagni di Lucca

On the whole the villa is great. It is in a secluded position and we loved having a private pool. The kitchen is also very well equipped and all bedrooms are a good size.
Cons:
The road to get to the villa is really steep - I am not sure you would be able to access the villa in all vehicle types (we were in a 4x4). The road to access the villa is also quite overgrown with brambles.
The view from the 'infinity' pool was not the same as in the photos (-the trees which have now grown block the view).
Pool - quite a few pool tiles were missing.
Although electric fans were provided for use in the bedrooms - they were not really that effective in lowering the temperature (our stay was in peak summer, late July/ beginning of August and outside temperatures were 30C).

Magnificent House and pool

The host is very responsive and helpful.
The very best recommendation from us.

So relaxing
Publié le 24 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayDuring a hustle and bustle travel itinerary, my family put this trip in the middle and it was absolutely perfect to just stop and relax. It gave us permission to just enjoy being secluded. We had a ton of space for the 4 of us. The pool was perfect, the drive can be overwhelming at first, my suggestion is to not get a lower station wagon, but that’s not the hosts fault. Chris was wonderful in all communication and was available all the time. We traveled daily into Lucca and saw the devils bridge. What a wonderful home base. Thanks Chris!!

Outrageous views
Publié le 25 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayAfter a precarious drive up, we were blown away by the views and pool at this property. It is breath taking. There is a wonderful restaurant just up the road and a fantastic town below. Really great place to bring groceries, sit by the pool and relax. We had a fabulous spa day in the town, also. LOVED this stay and hope we can return!

Perfect stay

Nice and calm area up in the hills! It was dark outside when we arrived the first night, so the road felt a little bit scary, but it was easier the next day in daylight 😊
