Wonderful dude getaway
Publié le 24 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayPerfect location for a 5k through Toft Point, a bike trip to Cornerstone, a bike adventure from Blue Ox, beach times, Sway, Sway, Sway, carne asada on the grill, golf at Peninsula, goats at Al’s, and guys watching the Badger game while cooking eggs and hash browns while overlooking Lake Michigan. It was a superb locations and the host were amazing to work with. 12/10 recommend.

Publié le 21 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayOur stay was nice. The house was cute. However we found that the side door could not be locked. We had to put all our valuables in our car when we went out and over night. Very inconvenient.
We also know many people in Door County and would have liked them to visit, but we would have been fined.
Very odd.

We appreciate that you brought the broken lock to our attention when you were there and we worked hard on getting our maintenance person there quickly to take a look and he provided an interim solution because our locksmith was in the hospital. I wish I would have known that you wanted to have guests during your stay, as that is definitely okay! Due to Bailey's Harbors policies we just needed to have them listed as guests on the rental agreement.

BEST TRIP EVER
Publié le 8 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy brother, sister and I came to Door County for a memorial trip to celebrate our late father. We ended up only staying in Baileys Harbor for one night due to an unexpected issue with dead fish. The contaminated water and smell were unbearable. Serenity Travel Rentals tended to our needs with upmost professionalism and customer service. Seriously, one of the best experiences we've ever had dealing with a Property Mgmt. Co. If you're planning a trip, I highly recommend giving them a call so they can help secure the right property for you. Aside from the dead fish, I wouldn't stay at this rental again. The house is older and on a crawl space. There's mold growing on the exterior and the interior smells of mold. There is a plumbing pipe just outside the living room window that makes a loud gurgle and prevents you from enjoying the sounds of Lake Michigan. The floorplan is GREAT, views are awesome, and kitchen is well equipped and nicely updated. Bailey's Harbor is cute. We ended up staying on the Green Bay side for the majority of our time in Ephraim and we loved everything about it. The property, the town, the service was all 10 out of 10!

We definitely bent over backwards to find the perfect fit for Sarah and her family. The house was completely remodeled in 2016 (outside of the small bathroom) and is lovingly taken care of and maintained. Almost all Door County houses are on a crawl space due to the hard rock that's present and we have ours inspected every 6 months. There is NO mold growing on the outside of the house. We have it power washed at the beginning of every season but when you're so close to Lake MI, we do get some moss on the outside of the house. As you can tell from our 5-star reviews on VRBO and on other sites, nobody ever complains about a "mold" smell.

Amazing Door County Find
Publié le 24 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThe Sandy Shores Retreat was a hidden gem of Bailey's Harbor! The accommodations were fantastic and perfect for our group. It was two couples and one two year old. We had ample space for all and you couldn't beat the views!

They even sent an offer to extend our trip which we were able to take advantage of. The house was awesome - perfect for what we needed. Lots of space and nicely decorated/appointed. Plenty of towels and pillows and the on-site laundry was really nice. Conveniently located and an easy walk to Ridges Sanctuary nature area, shops, restaurants, and brewery. Loved that they had books and puzzles and board games - we played Trivial Pursuit every night! Check-in and check-out was really easy. Our family would definitely stay at this property again!

Truly 5 star hospitality

SISTER'S TRIP 2023
Publié le 18 août 2023 sur HomeAwayLoved the location and the view. One of the best equipped kitchens we have seen with other rentals. Host was very responsive with any questions we had. Very nice shoreline and great for beach walking. Would definitely come again the next time Door County is our destination choice.
