Beautiful cottage in the woods!

The house in a few blocks walking distance from the interior Fletcher Bay coast line in Port Orchard side of Bainbridge Island. The house is charming with many windows and doors to enjoy the exterior beauty surrounding every side of the house. It was lovely!

I could live here for the rest of my life
Publié le 15 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis house is perfect. Ideally located close to Seattle with a short ferry ride, but also Olympic NP is accessible. (There were roadworks that made it harder, but once they are ready it will be an easier ride). The house has really everything that you need for your stay, but most importantly it’s charm and location is what we loved the most. There is a public place nearby to launch your kayaks/SUPs too. One of the best houses we have stayed… and we stayed in many… thanks

Cute, clean, peaceful

Poorly maintained home
Publié le 17 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe arrived at 6:00 PM to find that the code they gave us for the electronic door entry would not work. After calling Vacasa we got a new code that did work UNTIL the following night at 8:00 PM at which time it did not work. Called and got another code. House is in ill repair. There is a pet door off of the upstairs bathroom that has a door that is broken and won't stay on-racoons etc. can easily enter the home. Carpet dirty, cellular blinds so dirty they look like a dirty yellow. Toast crumbs on the window sill behind the toaster, spider webs above the bed upstairs, and a shower door that has an inch gap at the bottom thus an orange and wet stain on the rug. A ceiling light upstairs that has just wires showing. TV only has local programming.
This could be a nice rental with deep cleaning and lots of maintenance. Book for guests needs to be updated-talked about a key in a lock box. Finally having to enter a code every time you enter is very inconvenient especially when it takes 4 or 5 tries to get the door code to work. Very disappointed.

Scott, we are disheartened to read that you experienced concerns that kept you from fully enjoying your stay. We apologize for the issues you had using the access code when entering the home. Our local manager assured us that the smart lock is in good working order and we regret any inconvenience you encountered. Additionally, they fixed the pet door, addressed the cleanliness issues and scheduled a carpet cleaning. They are looking for a similar-style cabinet to replace the cracked one and maintenance has been scheduled to inspect the wiring for the ceiling light fixture. We hope you will allow us the chance to provide you with a truly exceptional vacation experience in the future.

Strongly do not reccomend
Publié le 31 août 2023 sur HomeAwayThe house was not clean. I needed to clean kitchen before use, wash throw blankets that were dirty, dead bugs in bath, dirty sheets noted after use. The house is stocked with a mishmash of old furniture, smattering of utensils. Only 2 burners on stove, has a stand alone oven without pans etc. The rugs are dirty and stained, the walls are dirty. Very disappointing and unacceptable.
