The cottage is lovely and cosy, full of everything you need, and has a wonderful picturesque location with two fantastic pubs and a village shop. Speaking with the owner ahead of our arrival, he provided us with a wealth of info about the cottage, as well as the local area and places to visit. It was our first visit to the Peak District but certainly won’t be the last! Thanks for a wonderful weekend stay.

Two great pubs, one lovely pub grub with good atmosphere the other great dining and very attractive. A tea room for your morning
Coffee and a small shop for essentials.

Yearly Get Together
Publié le 1 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayProperty was exactly as described although bigger than expected… exactly suitable for our requirements. The cottage is centrally located with 2 pubs, hotel & coffee shop to eat in. Also we’re able to get the hop on hop off bus from the village and Bakewell is about a 39 minute walk away.

Wonderful cottage

It is the perfect place to stay, spotlessly clean the photos don’t do it justice, it’s much bigger than we thought it would be, and central to Buxton .
Nice little touches for our welcome. Would not hesitate to return on our next trip to Derbyshire

Fantastic house in a fantastic location
