Enjoyed our stay the staff are all lovely making us and our dog most welcome .food was all lovely too will definitely go back

Such a welcoming place. Staff are very efficient and so friendly and welcoming. Lovely atmosphere in the bar, with a good food menu, with well presented, tasty meals.
The room was quite basic but equipped with everything you need and lots of lovely touches that made it feel home from home.
Breakfast was plentiful, lots of choice.
Good location to get around and lovely walks on the Chatsworth estate close by.
Totally enjoyed our stay.

The 4 poster bed was comfortable and it was nice that there was a fridge downstairs for fresh milk. But it was quite expensive for the facilities.
The staff were friendly, but service was patchy in the restaurant. The breakfast was nice, but the food in the restaurant was very unimaginative, especially for vegetarians.
The atea was very pretty.

Property is a little tired and very creaky floors but staff is very nice and food and drink was good.
