Relaxing weekend
Publié le 5 mai 2024 sur HotelsThe hotel was immaculately clean. We booked thru Hotels.com, and it said only 2 rooms available yet hotel was empty. Water pressure is extremely low and no breakfast. Facility is right on the beach. We were able to switch to the family rooms for our accommodations. Staff is terrific.

Family stopover on road trip.
Publié le 28 mai 2022 sur HotelsI had booked 2 rooms for a group of 6 and when we arrived we were told that we'd only reserved 1 room. Fortunately I had all the booking info on hand so a phone call between receptionist and owner seemed to sort out the problem.
Then we had another discussion about how many breakfasts were prepaid, so again I had to show all the booking info. Once in our rooms, the missus discovered that the shower didn’t work. The receptionist couldn't fix it so we got moved to a different room.
The staff were actually trying to be helpful and the place was clean and fairly quiet. WiFi worked well.
Breakfast was typical Filipino food, Tocino, egg, rice and fried banana. There were no options.
There's a beach area out back which is nothing special but OK for a quick swim.
They only have about 5 car park spaces so finding a space could be competitive.
Used a restaurant called Brad and Barrel for our evening meal which was a 20 minute walk away. Food was OK but nothing special.

Hotel looks new and clean. They allow cooking and dining at the roof top or al fresco beach side. My favorite feature is the estuary fronting the hotel itself. Its amazing to watch the river rushing to the sea and vice versa when its high tide. You can choose if you want to dip in fresh or salt water :)
