Didn’t live up to expectations
Publié le 7 avr. 2023 sur HotelsCould see that this used to be great (when photos were taken) While it was was mostly clean, there was a lot that didn’t live up to the promise or what we paid for. Lots of stains too. The bed linen is specifically tired and needing replacement - in no ways can it be called premium. There was no Wi-Fi and no bathtub - also both mentioned in the property description for the superior cottage (Crane Cottage). Convenient for the hockey festival at Michaelhouse and beautiful views but can’t say too much more of a positive nature

Publié le 6 mars 2018 sur HotelsStunningly beautiful grounds with private lake. Very accommodating and friendly hosts (Alex and staff). We were also served a delicious breakfast. Location ideal for Michaelhouse school and the Midlands Meander route. Highly recommended for a peaceful and refreshing getaway.

Perfect place for a winter break
Publié le 13 juill. 2017 sur HotelsBeacon Vlei is the perfect place to recover after a busy work schedule. Quiet and peaceful. Accommodation comfortable with electric blankets and heaters in each room as well as a fireplace in the living room. Close enough to access the main tourist attractions and try the local shops and businesses. A good trip.
